I was posting directly to the actual story threads, but had problems last year so I was stymied in my attempts to post the reviews. But you on fanfiction deserve your reviews, even if I am running late. But I'm catching up as you read this!

Post KOTOR: Bastila's reunion with her mother does not go well

The primary problem I had here was that the meeting in the hospital is just too brief and transitory. You remember the scenes from the game where Bastila wants to reconnect with her mother on a personal level, and now it is merely a visit where you come in, say 'hi and bye' and that is it. There was more emotion when Bastila was still berating the woman.

I rather liked it, it has this air of closure after the epic celebrational end of the game; it has this pesimistic aura too, I felt the ending of the game was a bit too cheery, on the LS ending, I mean. Really good job. Cheers.

This story is a good reminder that victory always carries the taint of loss and failure. Its a good wrap up for Bastila and portrays her fairly well.

About the only thing that didn't work for me is why she talked to the solder as it's not even remotly implied what she got out of it or him.
