I always love stories that add new dimensions to otherwise under or downright undeveloped characters, and this idea of Molly having been friends with Bellatrix in her Hogwarts years is actually quite captivating. I love the pictures you've painted of them in their youth, and how believable you've written them. Thanks for the great read!

This is really good. I've never read a story written from Molly's POV nor have I ever thought about reading a story where Bellatrix and her were best friends at some point in life. Very well executed.

Before reading this fic, if someone had proposed to me a "Molly Weasley and Bellatrix Lestrange as BFFs" fanfiction, I probably would have laughed. But this fanfic proved me wrong. (Incidentally it wasn't until I finished the story that I realized it was told in the second person. Very gripping, to take me in regardless of an unusual narrative device).

On tumblr and elsewhere, Molly Weasley has been raised to the status of a Memetic BAMF - had she REALLY rolled up her sleeves sooner, she could have wiped the floor with all the squadrons of death eaters, stat! But I really, really like what you bring out in this fic - the sheer and complete *rage* that powered her ability to kill Bellatrix, her maternal instinct and focus, and the *frightening* level of her power, as the stone affixes of Hogwarts crumble around her. She is a WITCH, and the way you write her, this is brought to life as far more than a few handy-dandy spells or a list of Chuck-Norris-esque accomplishments. This is power born of wrath, and of "love to hatred turned."

Also, the attributes and features you give to Trixie are spot-on - they all fit very well with the Bellatrix that we know, but lend at the same time a new and believable dimension to her, a dimension that truly could care about another person, that was mischievous and thrill-seeking. Why should Bella have always been Bella, after all?

All in all, an impressive and deeply moving piece, that has stayed with me and demanded rereads, long after I originally favorited it. Thank you for writing it.

It's pretty unusual to see a story from Molly's point of view, and I appreciate that you haven't given us a "sweet mom" stereotype, but someone with an unexpected dimension... and that's something you give us for Bellatrx too! Nicely done.

I haven't read many stories of either Molly or Bella, so it should be obvious that I've never read a story with both of them in it.

But I think you have managed one of the best characterizations of both. I love how Bella was two instead of just cruel nasty Bella. I love how she was friends with Molly and Arthur during her school years and I love how you managed to work it all into that final battle between them.

Over all, I love this one shot!

The thing I enjoyed the most about this story was that you made Bella so human and vulnerable and really showcased who she was and where she came from. She was once Trixie, wasn't she? But time changes people, and this was no different.

I especially loved that I could really feel the emotions of the characters throughout the piece. Excellent work.

First of all, your style of writing is absolutely magnificent, I loved how you can almost feel the raw emotion coming off the characters. Second of all, Molly was never that interesting of a character for me in the series, but you've managed to make her into something brilliant. I really like the idea of Molly and Bellatrix being friends when they were younger and how gradually, Bellatrix began to change from 'Trixie' into this cold 'Bella'.

I am SO loving the idea of Molly and Bellatrix being friends earlier on in their life. I also love the way you have compared Trixie and Bella. *Favourites*

I love Bellatrix as a character. On the other hand, I find Molly quite boring. But you have humanised her for me, given her life and pain and memories that I've never seen. So even though this is ultimately a story of Bella, I love that for me it is more a story of Molly. Thank-you.

Everything you wrote, every word you filled in is filled with such emotion, longing, anger, pain, desperation, fear and sadness.

Obviously this is one of the more powerful scenes in DH but you have added depth to it that I teared up at the end.

Very well written, well weaved with the canon and if I can say so...and I do, you made the scene even better. Bravo!
