firequeen8569 chapter 8 . 4/2/2017 Hey I love this book! Hope you update it |
xXMizz Alec VolturiXx chapter 8 . 1/3/2012 super cute please keep updating! go on! |
daysandweeks chapter 8 . 8/10/2010 Ah! So... After writing a one-shot featuring Theodore & Padma, they've become my new OTP. I did a search of them and was sad to see only 2 stories about them! I'm glad I read this one, though! I couldn't help but be happy when she sent him Pride & Prejudice. It's my favorite book, so I was sorta hoping that was her choice. ;) Anyway, I'm in love with this story and putting it on my alerts in case you decide to every update again. |
Personally Myself chapter 1 . 7/8/2010 I absolutely adore this pairing. Just love it to pieces. And what I like even better is the way you write them together. Realistic, well rounded, canon-true characters and chapters that keep me interested? What more can a reader want? Fabulous and lovely and I really hope you continue this story, because it is stellar. |
Muffin'sback chapter 8 . 2/17/2010 OMFG. You can't leave me like this, I mean, this story is absolutely amazing! It actually made me smile! It's so sweet :') |
Sempre libera chapter 8 . 4/21/2009 I did not realized you had updated this story! I still enjoy it very much. Being a fan of Jane Austen's work myself, I found it was a nice touch to have Padma offer P&P to Theodore (so meaningful !) The letter made me smile (what words did she scratch out indeed?) You do a very good job at writing Padma and Theo's inner thoughts. I repeat myself here, but I really love that you take the time to build their story in a believable and realistic way (not many fics do that). The set-up is so nicely done that the pay-off of having them confessing their feelings to each other will be even greater! |
Execrator chapter 8 . 1/16/2009 Good story. I particularly like the way you portrayed Theo (most authors seem to portray their grown-up characters as not having made any personality changes since Hogwarts). It will be interesting to see how they finally admit to their mutual attraction. Also, I really dislike the Parvati/Draco pairing, but it's your story so you can do whatever you want I guess. Maybe if you had explained the reasons for it better it wouldn't seem so foreign to me. :D Keep writing! |
Nimph chapter 8 . 1/8/2009 You know, you make very very good reflections on your characters' natures... I very much enjoyed the sisterly gossip, also a classic. I have the feeling you let similar stereotyped scenes weight a bit too much -it feels slightly more like a sitcom than the rest of the fic. But you know, I'm just being very picky here, and I do believe it's a good scene. ;) I love the last sentence, though. I LOVE IT. The self-knowledge and the anticipation and ih! I'm very angry with the world because of your lack of reviews here, by the way. I'll definitely be sending people your way! You keep writing, please! :D |
Nimph chapter 7 . 1/8/2009 How claver of Padma to trick him into a date so long -if she even realized what she was doing, that is. I love to imagine them going around watching the Christmas-sy London, but I enjoyed the tube conversation the most. His asking her and her wanting to _know_ things... aw. The sleeping/feigning sleep bit was also lovely; a very classic scene in this slow kind of love stories. :D |
Nimph chapter 6 . 1/8/2009 I *love* this story. :D This chapter I liked especially -Theodore's thoughts on his co-workers are genius, and the scratched bits in the letters were very well placed. Ooh, not to mention Theo's ending line! And the bracelet! And Jane Austen! Ha, I'm very happy, thank you! |
slasher454 chapter 8 . 1/7/2009 Again, perfectly lovely. I can't recall if it's canon or fanon that Parvati was a terrible gossip with Lavender Brown at Hogwarts, but I have this mental picture of her that meshes perfectly with the girl you've drawn here, giving knowing looks and pouting because her sister seems to have snagged an illustrious bachelor and she's the last to know. An adorable piece :) I hope you're able to write and update soon. |
slasher454 chapter 7 . 1/7/2009 Oh, the playfulness! The intimacy! I adore the passage where they lean in close to talk and he smells her perfume and thinks of her as a breath of fresh air, once again, implying that he has thought of her this way before. Lovely! This little installment is my favorite so far :) |
slasher454 chapter 6 . 1/7/2009 I really enjoyed this look into your Theodore's Slytherin side - he's ambtitious and proud and shrewd, and all in ways that compliment his character instead of diminishing it as most Slytherin traits are used to do in fanfic and even in canon. And Padma ... It takes a certain amount of daring to give Pride & Predujice to a man one has an interst in, let alone a man like Theo. I'm shocked at our Miss Proper Padma, and in the best way. Lovely work, as usual :) |
Sempre libera chapter 5 . 12/30/2008 This is a very sweet story. I love Theo and Padma's interactions, and how you didn't rush anything between them. We can watch them falling in love in a very believable way. Looking forward to the next chapter! |
Nimph chapter 5 . 12/18/2008 Wow! I really really really enjoyed these! Because: -The fact that it's made of drabbles makes it light and pleasing to read, skipping from interesting bit to interesting bit. And they are very well written, of course. -The characters are amazingly beliable and feel very human. I love love love both Pansy and Nott! Nott because he's stuffy and reserved but not too mysterious, and Padma because she's very Ravenclaw but I get the feel she does enjoy herself. -The pace is very nice, very Austen-esque. I like that you didn't opt for an obvious sexual tension and made this very sedate and... cottony instead. Cottony in a very good way, mind. It rings true. Please, please, please, keep writing! I'll now go and recommend this to my friends... |
