Read the whole story in one sitting and I've gotta say, I'm thoroughly impressed. while generally new to , I know authors of your quality seem to be lacking (especially in Naruto apparently). I really like your cynical personality as well. Its good to know there's an author willing to voice their opinions as well as you do. P.S., anyone have a good fanfic recommendation? So this is my first time reading this story. And I've done it nonstop. I only have one complaint.

It just felt like Misato's and Shinji's development went a little too fast. Almost like she's unconditionally accepting him from the start.

While Misato is a bit of a ditz, she does have that tactician side of her that I don't think was properly addressed. IF there were to be a rewrite of this story (highly doubt but I always ponder) perhaps you could look into handling that.

I love how you're not like others who turn the actual universe of Evangelion upside down (i.e. Shinji's parents are alive and just work for NERV, etc). But you actually create a continuation of the world. I've been thinking about that myself when I've been working on my own Xover fanfic. In mine I had a different idea about who the new bad guys are. But your concept of Angels being regular people is absolutely fantastic.

I know this story hasn't been updated since '09, but I would love to see some conclusion to it. Perhaps if you were to pick it up again you might have some ideas to take the characters such as Misato and put them into a deeper level of development. You have so many complex concerns going on in the plot as a whole, I would love to see that directly translate to some of the characters as well.

It is my greatest hopes that the next time I check in with that you will have found some time and inspiration to work on this fantastic work.

One of the best Evangelion fics I've read. Although for some reason I kept expecting Shinji and Asuka to either make up (is that the right expression?) or have an all out fight, perhaps it's just my hopeful thinking.

Anyway great story, thumbs up, keep writing, (and maybe whip up a chapter or two to company of wolves).

PS. Are you planning on writing a sequel to AE?
