I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since I've read this story the first time. I think about this story off an on over the years, and I went back to read it on your livejournal, but the journal's been purged. I almost cried. Thank goodness I found your account.

So I actually read this on your LJ but I'm commenting here. I read this all in one sitting-I honestly couldn't bring myself to stop reading. This story is so captivating and beautiful and real, and I just really want to thank you for writing and sharing it, haha. The way you wrote the balance of moments of intimacy and violence and insecurity in Peter and Matt's relationship was like a continuous knife in my gut, ugh. Amazing writing. I could wax poetic about it but I'm not eloquent enough. I just really really enjoyed this story, we'll leave it at that! :)

I don't even know how I've never read such a brilliant story before.
But this is really something. Especially with how great your characterizations of Peter & Matt are.
I'm sad that Peter died in the end.
But this is really beautiful.
And you've pretty much written a masterpiece of a story for this pairing.

This story was amazing, read the whole thing in only a few hours. You are amazing writer and you made me like Matt/Peter. This is one of the first fics that had me crying my freaking eyes out, but I still loved this story! Keep up the good work!

Now, I'm off to read the sequel!

You horrible author, I'm in tears. Haha! No, really, this was amazing - I read the whole thing today (mah... took me forever because I'm lazy). Pete and Matt together is GREAT, and the way you had them was great too.

Then Pete died. My heart broke. I was like "NO IT DIDNT SAY TRAGEDY IN THE DESCRIPTION!" - and then the end-end bit came along. Oh man, I'm still teary because now I wonder if he's alive?

MATT AND PETE SHOULD BE HAPPY TOGETHER! Haha, ah, poor Matty - I know he's kinda very screwed up - but they were cute together.

Given that I've been reading this story for months I should have said something sooner, but I really just love this. You do everything so well it's a joy to read and I end up all excited every time it's updated. Please continue the great work!
