Missing, is the tail of a contracter fighting for the freedom of a distent galaxy, joined by an unusual allie. lost to history is the wonderful tail of a man, who knowing the future of his time, broke it, and in return was rewarded with a friendship, stronger than fate. Aye, I've long read this story a few years back and I've waited patiently for the results. I was not disappointed. I hope to see the next chapter as soon as you can.

I have to say that after reading all thirty-one chapters of this fanfiction that this has to be one of the best written and most true to detail fanfictions that I've ever read. I love how you keep all the established characters true to form and make your characters believable and engaging. I hope you keep going on this, I look forward to seeing how things work out for Brian and Krystal.

It's nice to see an update every now and then, I had nearly forgotten about this story till I got curious about it again. Great pacing and fleshing out the lore of a simple gamecube game. Keep up the good work!

So it looks like Brian and Krystal have some planning to do after they finish enjoying their bath and whatever else they choose to do off-screen.

Dealing with Yuri and Ivan shouldn’t be too difficult seeing as how Brian is currently in possession of both the weapons (likely the only ones) they brought with them to the lab. The most simple solution would be to just double tap both of them while they’re still in their pods, but knowing Krystal, she probably won’t let Brian do that. So the other option they could go with is sitting both of the Russians down somewhere at gunpoint after they finish their conversions and explain certain things to them like how the Soviet Union no longer exists and what they’re going to do with the advanced tech they plan to bring with them back to Earth. Another thing that could come up is where exactly on Earth they are going to transport to; both parties will want to go directly to their homelands. Another way he could get the Russians to truly cooperate is by mentioning the possibility that they’ll be tracked back to Earth.

Another immediate problem they’ll soon be dealing with is Star Fox team and the shadow group trying to kill Krystal. Both factions know where they’re at; Yuri and Ivan probably won’t be able to run back to their ship which would foil their plans of bring advanced tech to Russia. Though they could escape by just having Krystal transport them while inside the lab.

I am interested to see where you take this story next. Awesome job.

Man I can't believe it's been ten years! Got to read it through highschool and college lol I remember when you first starting posting the story. It's still one of my absolute favorites and I'm glad you're going to keep going. It's been a hell of an adventure bud, hope you keep leading it to hear place.

OK...time to review!

I just started reading this a couple of days ago...and I will say that I am obsessed with it! This is easily one of the most compelling novels I've read lately, and easily the best Star Fox fan fiction I've ever read.

That being said, I will say that your talent making the characters come alive is absolutely amazing, and I'm wholeheartedly looking forward to future updates and chapters. I understand that real life is a bitch sometimes, and will impatiently wait for what comes next.

Now for teh review stuff...

I have noticed a few typos here and there, but nothing that wouldn't be present in a professionally edited and published book, so no worries on that.
The relationship between Brian and Krystal seems to progress naturally, having taken 25 chapters for even anything risque to happen. I personally enjoy their dynamic as someone that loves to read and write romance-y shorts and novels, myself. It feels like this could really be happening.
I will say that Brian seems to have fewer hang-ups earlier on about returning home then you would expect, though I have to wonder if that isn't because he's a Marine. I am surprised at how little he freaked out when he was first displaced, but again, I wonder if it's because of the Marine training.
Krystal seems -really- well fleshed out, something I give major props on. She's funny, likable, but has her own issues that need dealing with.
Now, as for story progress itself, you definitely have gotten me hooked on it. The intrigue is well thought out, and the action scenes are a perfect mix of panic and control. The tender moments between our hero and heroine are spaced out just enough to give us a little bit to catch our breaths.
I will admit I'm curious about Fox and the rest of the Star Fox team and where they'll end up in all of this...Given that Krys and Brian have little-to-no reason to trust them, I'm curious how it'll work out.

All in all, I'm hopeful and excited to see that you will continue this..I've seen too many fics that have great beginnings die due to real life problems. I wish you the best of luck and happy typing!

It's honestly a great feeling to come back to fanfiction to see a new update of this fic. I spend most of my time on Ao3 so I don't check often as I should. I'm glad I did. Also I don't know if I said this before but its refreshing to see krystal with someone who isn't fox or panther. Keep up the good work!.

Not a fan of Krystal without Fox being her mate, but this is one of the few I can tolerate, more so if they do the nasty in the shower, just hope Fox and friends get there and maybe something like the team and others have to head to Earth to get away from the black ops team, the remnants elements, and other nasty stuff that wants Krystal. Maybe we will see that other human team someday from the first version of the story. God I missed that.

Take your time, can't rush a good story

Really enjoyed the detail in the environment. You talked about how he woke up in a room and assessed his surroundings before leaving the empty room and explore. This is great detail that every author should have in their settings.

Don't know about Russia and the U.S. being on good terms. They both seem to hate each other for the others past actions. The U.S. at Russia because they invaded Crimea. Wait, Brian doesn't know this yet. It happened in March 2014. If Brian and the Russians do come back, their both going to have to adjust.

The magic thing with the going back into her memories felt too jarring. Especially after such a long hiatus.
