I loved this, it was wonderful!

wtf. i read all the way through this thing and we don't even get a kiss. ANYTHING!I don't know how you can call this a pairing fic if they don't actually romantically get together. Its more implied. URG. I liked this story, i did, but i am seriously annoyed with the lack of display of affections.

i loved it so much :) everything about it including the storyline, your eloquent language and how your portrayed all the characters. i wish i could write as well as you! the journey that they all took makes me feel like i've just completed a journey myself after reading this, a somewhat personal journey if you will. it's a good feeling! good luck on future fics and make sure you write the side stories!

I loved this story, I could see everything happening through the mass of description. I'm so anxious to read the sequel now...although from the look of it, the sequel might never be updated again. Its a sad thing, since its so hard to find fic that compels me to keep reading.

Wow! I loved the story... so powerful. I especially liked how you put the historical notes into the narrative. It gave it more depth. My favourite part though has to be the scene on Nikolai's ship where the cat o'nines is brought into the picture... WOW!

Give or take a few passing errors (like a missing word) that anyone can make, this is a beautiful story. Extremely vivid scenes, and a twisting plot. Touchingly poignant, and your vocabulary is scary.
