Hey there, I know its been ten years but I thought I would let you know just how much I loved this. Suffice to say, I like it ALOT.

I loved the way you portrayed Johns pain, and Carson's (Not Carson) reaction to his friend being in the position he is while also being really concerned about Jennifer and Ronon.

AND THEN Rodney's quip about how the odds of him being impaled twice in the same month is astronomical. That was great, I snorted out loud. And the 'Little Colonels room,' I definitely chuckled out loud there.

OVERaLL I love this story, and will likely be reading this over and over throughout the entirety of my lifetime.

This is one of my very favourite fanfics ever, I can't remember how many times I've come back to re-read it. So well written and much-needed missing whump for this episode.

Awesome story and a great final chapter with Teyla, Rodney and Carson all keeping vigil at Shep's bedside. The doc taking good care of his patient and McKay bit**ing around in his usual manner about Shep's lack of keeping him company in return (it's moving - and obvious - how much he cares though).

Teyla's visit with Torren on her lap was sweet; she really adores her child and I loved how she rocked him and hummed - with John falling asleep to it.

Shep's last line about Ronon was classic, true and simple!

Carson is a real sweet as a doctor (clone or no) and competent of taking care of even the most unusual of situations. His compassion for everyone (the way he also checked on poor Keller when his team readied the stretcher for Shep) always gets to my heart and is surely the reason why he's still that appreciated (and missed) among his collegues.

And he should really stop beating himself up about not being the 'real' Carson (even though that's what makes him tick, I guess). He may be a clone but that doesn't lessen his memories and experiences one bit! To himself (and probably his friends) he's as real as the late Carson was.

I totally shared John's relief when Carson assured him first in the infirmary and then in the room at the end.

And he was right about another thing too: Rodney's going to kill him for both smashing the Jumper through the tower wall and for 'performing' a stunt like that.

Yeah! A great episode tag for a great episode! I do love seeing poor little Sheppard get whump…lol!
