Very good six-part story. You did a good job with everyone's character, especially the mayor. Showing him as feeling bad about having to pretend to feel sorry for her and having Bruce hate it gives more to both their characters. I like how well you wrote about the Joker watching the funeral with his twisted way of thinking. Also ending this story with Rachel's last thoughts is the perfect ending.

Wow, I really loved this - your Bruce and Gordon were so amazing, I adored how you had Gordon think back to hinm comforting him when his parents died. (I love Gary Oldman in these films!)

The Joker - OMG, perfect chapter! I loved how he said to the nurses 'its a shame' and meaning it - but differently, of course! (he could have done more with her - LOL!)

And its so clever integrating Mayor Garcia - there was little of him in the film, but you made a completely plausible characterisation of him.

YOu are very gifted and unique in your writing, keep it up! Well done! :)

That is definately not the way I thought the story would end. Oh well. One thing that struck me as odd... "the thought of living with him was cold, unforgiving. That part didn't make sense. Did you mean living with out him... or did you really mean what you wrote?

Anyway, it wasn't a bad ending... just one that I didn't expect. Keep up the good stuff.

I got goosebumps reading this chapter. It's not as anti-climactic as you thought. It was a wonderful story, and the last chapter was fitting.

I'm glad you had her thanking Bruce at the end. I read one story that had her being very angry at him and thinking her didn't save her because he read her letter about not being with him and it made me sad. Since...well, he was actually trying to save her. Great job with this story!

Ooh...jerk. This was really good, I think you captured how he'd act and feel perfectly. And I also think, you are doing wonderful at capturing who Rachel was and how she was perceived by others. Great job!

Nice. I especially liked Harvey Dent and the Joker. Keep up the great work!

Yay, I was right about it being Rachel!

I didn't really care for Rachel's character, but I'm sad that she died simply because it made Harvey crazy, and I liked Harvey.

I thought this was a good end to the series
