Oddly, this is how House started the very first time he and Cameron became intimate...SHE changed things by hurting him in order to make it about SEX instead of LOVE...he was gentle and tender, she wanted "MANHANDLED"...

See, I'm confused...Cameron set the perimeters of this 'union', yet is upset when House follows HER lead...I am definitely a House/ANYONE BUT CUDDY shipper, but I always want the 'blame' or 'responsibility' to be placed where it should be. I don't like to read where House is considered "THE DEVIL", because he is not evil or uncaring or even cold...he is distant for a reason...

Cameron LEFT House on the first night KNOWING that he was disappointed in her decision, yet thinks that HE used HER? Hopefully she wises up soon...

Actually by this time period, Cameron has become quite manipulative so her character is right on. She has used House just like everyone else does...for HER own benefit...you might not like this chapter, but you pulled it off quite nicely.

I just re-read this story and I'm just as much amazed as I was when Iread it for the first time. House and Cameron are so in character, I can actually see this happening in the cannon. I don't think I've ever read something so beautiful, so wonderful. This is by far the best Cameron/House fic I've ever had the pleasure of reading. You captured both characters perfectly. I felt what they were feeling. You most certainly did them justice, more than justice in fact.

A beautiful ending to an incredibly well-written story. I think you summed up their personalities very well there at the end of this chapter without taking away any from their complexity by putting them each in a category. The way you write these two characters really does capture the bond between them. You allow House to be vulnerable with her while still keeping him very much in character. I really like the way you incorporated Kutner's suicide into the story: the perfect reason for House to finally want to get away.

Random line that I really liked: She wrinkles her nose when she feels stray grains float across her skin, tingling as they go.

I hope you'll feel like writing more House/Cam stories! I'd be excited to see more from you. I hope your 'life' decisions are going well!
