Hmmm was the Pichu really a darker color? I don't cheat on my games, but I have spent time researching glitches. The mystery zone: I think it might be an error trap or something to prevent the game from crashing(?) I think I read about it on a web sight called glitch city laboratories... And have you ever done any cheats on Lucario or Pukachu? That may have screwed up the date. I've never heard of the attack, maybe a Japanese name for one of Pichu's attacks? Have you tried googling it?

Well if anything the Mystery Zone is the black spaces outside of the normally accessible game. It the black you see when your at a cave wall or in a small room.

Looking over all the generations of the pokemon games, they've always had strange glitches, some of the most remembered being in the first gen, like missingNo.

I don't claim to know a whole lot about how glitches and game mechanics work, so you shouldn't really quote me on this but possibly the AR could have glitched your game up some(though there are other cases when similar bizarre things have happened with no cheats enabled or used). I suppose when your pokemon bred the game scrambled some of the data of the egg and the subsequent pichu. It(she?) was quite literally born from a glitch, the stats were pulled from an empty area of code so the game grabbed what it could, setting the date as the default and giving the pichu a common base stat and other randomly generated characteristics that a normal hatched poke would possess.

The game couldn't determine where the egg came from, so it said it came from the mystery zone, though no pokemon or characters exist there.

It should also be said that MissingNo. is a harmless and useful glitch, only scrambling your Hall of Fame data in the First gen. It can duplicate your items 128 times. And if you find its brother 'M you can get a khangaskhan that nows fly and water gun, though it is more glitchy than MissingNo. There are other glitches that can totally screw your game up, missingno isn't one of 'em.

On the story -I wrote quite a bit on that glitch explanation didn't I? - It's a nice story, though the details are rather basic, but since you're just writing about a very strange glitch. That probably wasn't your main intention.

I personally love looking at and finding glitches and how they work, which in turn teaches me how the game works. But the first few timesI saw these glitches they creeped the hell outta me.

Well...sometimes when u use AR too much it messes wit ur game...once i was playin mi diamond right? So i left Soledad(espeon) and Dusk(Umbreon) in Daycare right? So they got it on and i picked up the egg and i took one step...it hatched! And it turned into a Latias! Now Solana changes pokemon every day. Today its a Darkrai. Needless to say, i lucked out...but...i will never use AR again(on my diamond)

I guess this is what happens when you mess around with cheat codes, the strange and unexplainable happen.

I can't say I've ever experienced it in my years, but a great story nonetheless. :)
