This was short, but it was almost poetic. The contrast between Kira and L is wonderfully illustrated and L hoping that Light dreams of stars is an in-character way for him to show that he hopes Light isn't Kira and that he cares enough about Light to have hopes like that.

The fic was so sweet, breathtaking and lovely.. I'm lovin' it.

I like the whimsical feel of this. It's a little awkward, but that's just L and Light being in character, I think, lol. The whole conversation about the sky and the stars felt very right for them, and the end worked beautifully, as much as it was rather strange :D Very true to the pairing, some wonderful lines...L's reflection that Kira would not be comforted by the sky is so spot on, and really pins the difference between Kira!Light and Innocent!Light, I think. Very different to most LxLight fic, fascinating, and I really enjoyed it.
