sweetnorcute chapter 1 . 7/15/2009 it was unfair ! life is unfair right but whileSarah cried in Terminator I cried with her..Kyle didn't deserve to die. Sometimes i even wonder what would it be like if Kyle was alive in Queens Gambit and Dungeons & Dragons it would be awesome.. |
vucizalis chapter 1 . 6/2/2009 Beautiful and compelling. I love put elements of TSCC and the Terminators movies together. |
StarzAngelus chapter 1 . 3/26/2009 Dammit, that was good. I think you captured John's mind (teenager, future leader and all) incredibly. I'm not usually emotional when I read fics (stories or whatever), but when I got to this line ""Because you volunteered, son.""- I teared up. I'm not sure if you intended it to be powerful or deeper than just a simple explanation from General Connor for the soldier Kyle Reese, but it holds so much weight. It was a mirror moment for father and son, roles reversed. Great job. :) |
SarahBlackwood chapter 1 . 1/7/2009 This is excellent. Really in character and an excellent study of John and Kyle and how they complete eachother. Very good. I'm really enjoying your terminator stuff. You're fast becoming one of my favourite authors in the fandom. |
Yang of Yin chapter 1 . 12/6/2008 Wow. That was awesome. I could totally imagine this scenario playing out. I loved the jumping back and forth between Kyle and John. Perfectly done. I never got confused as to who was thinking what and what time line you were in. The characterization was great. I thought John stayed in character amazingly well. People have a tendency to over emotionalize him or make him way to mature. You walked the line brilliantly. I loved Kyle. He's exactly how I imagined him to be. That last paragraph of Kyle's where John is asking him if he'll go back was beautiful. I started tearing up. Anyways, this was a great read and I can't wait to read more from you! Yang |
Augustus Paladin Maximus chapter 1 . 10/23/2008 Did you really HAVE to make me cry? I mean you couldn't just write this fantastic depiction Terminator mythos, you needed to make me cry? I mean what can I say, great, amazing, one of the best? Well to me it is. Thank you for such a great story. Everything in it was awesome and the way you got his three guardians together before they were dispatched to the past really got me. I would have liked to read what he would have told Uncle Bob before sending him back and of course Cameron. Would it have been easier for him to admit his feelings for them considering that their logic would never allow their "feelings" to cloud their judgment? |
Sensue chapter 1 . 10/20/2008 Very touching. And True...the one thing I noticed though, you didn't have Kyle memorize the message to his mother. ("no fate...") |
Ghostwriter chapter 1 . 9/8/2008 Awesome job. Catch ya on the flip side. |
happyhooligan2001 chapter 1 . 8/22/2008 Very well written. John loved his father and John sent his father on a suicide mission. He saw the big picture. Sacrifices have to be made to win the war. Just like all wars. One minor quibble. In the original Terminator, Kyle Reese didn't recognize the terminator until it actually attacked Sarah. |
gleamingeyes chapter 1 . 8/19/2008 This was really, really well done. The writing and grammar were excellent, and I felt like I was really able to get inside John's head and see what he was thinking and feeling and how his thoughts and feelings were affecting him. Awesome job! |
sprntrlgrl chapter 1 . 8/18/2008 This was so good. I've wanted to write something about Kyle and John and all that stuff... This is on my "Wish I'd Written It List" Good job. :D |
aveyune chapter 1 . 8/16/2008 ...I'm speechless. This was... It has to be by far one of the best things you've ever written. It was beautiful. |
