meganrose8 chapter 1 . 10/12/2015
I always wondered how all of the original movie had come about, and I think this is a good preview. I like the how it connects into the real movie and is pretty realistic.
Lacrimula Falsa chapter 1 . 7/17/2014
Wow, this is beautiful. Sad but a little hopeful at the same time and very poetic.
"Still, he waits until the last possible moment to close the doors. Just in case." That almost made me cry.
A wonderful story. Thanks for sharing.

the sudoku kid chapter 1 . 3/22/2011
This also seems realistic in the movie's universe, you're doing well. I really like your writing style so that's why I'm saying this: keep up the good work.
Roach Patrol chapter 1 . 6/27/2010
This story is so great! I rec'd it at toonfic, on LJ, and I thought you should know.
Tatsu-no-Houou chapter 1 . 5/2/2010
Not bad, its not freak lightning bolt that gives WALL-E his charm... it's simply oddities and curriosities that evolved WALLE to what he is. not badly done
Netbug-Archive chapter 1 . 7/13/2009
Nice job bringing all these short moments together. It has a good mix of emotion and mundane in it, and it fits WALL-E well. :)
Bells of Tomorrow chapter 1 . 8/31/2008
Part of me was sad to read the destruction of the other Wall-E's, but I really liked the way you write the main Wall-E's way of thinking; his logic. And I really enjoyed how you showed him finding his precious items, one by one. Another very good one-shot.
gfhgjihm chapter 1 . 8/26/2008
Very good!
Beboots chapter 1 . 8/17/2008
There is a very nice flow to the words of your story: almost poetic, but without being trite. :3 You did a wonderful job! I really like your little explanation of why all of the other WALL-Es didn't last as long. I also like your insight into WALL-E's sentimentality. :3 Good job!
Skywalker 007 chapter 1 . 8/14/2008
Great writing! Great way to depict WALL-E's behavior during those 700 years.
Hermonthis chapter 1 . 8/13/2008
The way you narrate this story is just beautiful.
Negative Creep chapter 1 . 8/13/2008
Oh, I'm so glad you fianlly posted it. Hell-oo Favourites list.

In my mind, this has pretty much become the canon backstory for our favourite little Waste Allocator, and I can't think of a higher honour for a piece of fanfiction. Good job.
A chapter 1 . 8/12/2008
It would be hard not to love Wall-E after reading something like that. I can tell that you really "believe" in this universe, and the way you write with such conviction for the character and for the world around him proves it. Wonderful imagery, wonderful characterization... The bit about the carousel horse is my favorite part of all. This is made all the more fun by the fact that Wall-E DOES keep a carousel horse in his truck! The level of love you give to these little details is absolutely irresistible for any true "Wall•E" nerd. ;-)

Thank you very much for this happy read!
kaput chapter 1 . 8/12/2008
"There is no logical reason to follow a route that takes him past it every day, but still he does. Just to look at it."

Oh, this is the cutest line ever. Nice!

I love your Wall-E fics. They are sweet and melancholy in the same way that the movie was, and very fun to read.
chu chapter 1 . 8/12/2008
Having read many fanfictions centered on EVE's personality development, I'm curious to see one on Wall-E's, good work! Maybe more details required. The forming of Wall-E's personality, different from EVE, needs a long, long time, and I think you should stress on that.
