First. The tinglies in my belly rate this as five star lemon.
Second, in traditional Japanese the last name comes before the first, so when Ishida says 'Nemu, Nemu kurosutchi,' it really should have been 'kurotsuchi, kurotsuchi nemu,' Should this have happened, I would have taken pleasure in seeing Szayelaporro's face when he gets the impression that Ishida's crush is not only a crazy bastard, but the one that got him almost killed, before being swiftly corrected.

I've just recently discovered how much I like this pairing, due to the fact that I'm participating in a fairly plausible SzayIshi rp...and so far this is the only decent (and plausible) fic I've read. Really, why are you so good? All your fics are awesome.

Everyone in this was in character...Mayuri, Szayel...Ishida. Especially Szayel...you even made him being nice to Ishida plausible, really, spite? Perfect. And Ishida, as desperate for company as he was, falling for Szayel...

I have always loved the pairing of Uryuu and Szayel, and you have done a fabulous job of portraying this twosome. Your descriptions of Uryuu's physical and emotional sufferings at the beginning of the fic were phenomenal. Excellent work! I love that they had the last laugh at Mayuri. I feel that the characters remained pretty much in character, although it was a nice touch with Szayel being so gentle with Uryuu, no matter his reasoning.

I need to catch up with 'Understanding' the way you write Szayel is so accurate.

I loved the idea that the only reason they had consensual sex was to spite Mayuri :) and Ishida giving his first kiss away was a nice touch, as was Szayel rationalising who Ishida's crush was.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best lemons I have ever read (and that's a lot...O/O). It was both strange and immensely enjoyable to read a compassionate Szayel, even if the compassion was out of spite for Mayuri. It's almost bittersweet, but that word doesn't quite seem to fit. I guess it would be bittersweet, but heavy on the sweet. But the sweetness was bitter. ARGH! (headdesks) The fic, she kicks ass, a'ight? XD
