Such a beautiful and bittersweet story!
You had me laughing in some places and feeling sad in others, which is exactly what a good story is supposed to do.

This was just as enjoyable as the Rabadash story, if a bit more scattered (in that the chapters seemed a bit random; the whole thing is good).

I forgot to mention at the other story that if you ever find the inspiration and time to write the story of Hasan and Portia, I'd love to read it. :-)

Oh, wow is this a heart-wrenching piece! The first part is just fun, and I love the songs you put in and the tidbits about them knowing the 'Pirate' Captain, but it's the end that really gets me. The idea of Edmund and Lucy listening to their own funeral, then memorizing it, no matter how much it might hurt, to take back to their siblings, was just really powerful. Incredible work! I would love to see more by you about Edmund and Lucy on the Dawn Treader - you have a great talent at affecting our emotions.
