LizziePaige chapter 16 . 4/25/2019 What a great story. I love how you’ve written this, not leaving out the harder aspects of Edward’s illness and recovery. There was no magic cure or fix, just hard work, determination and a lot of love and support from family and friends to help him get there. Thank you for sharing these two and their journey with us. :) xx |
nebfan51 chapter 16 . 1/27/2018 Great story! I had all kinds of "feels" reading this :-) THANK YOU for sharing this! |
Toni Masen chapter 16 . 1/27/2018 Well it's a real shame that you decided to retire from writing because that was a wonderful story. Emmett got on my nerves with all his 'shouting' and I really wanted to gag him, LOL. I learnt more about having a stroke and brain injuries than I ever knew before. You also need to know that I have 3 snotty and tear soaked tissues by my side, this story had me sobbing on nearly every chapter, even the one you said that a tissue wouldn't be needed! Thank you for writing this story. :-) |
lorilamz chapter 16 . 12/14/2017 Loved this story! Stayed up all night finishing it. Thank you! |

GrimFWaters chapter 11 . 2/16/2014 Random true story: I was in 9th or 10th grade and I had a piano recital. I was supposed to play Once Upon A December. I had practiced for weeks and weeks and memorized it perfectly. I got on stage and played about half the song before I completely forgot every single note. I didn't even know what key I had been playing in. To this day I can't remember how to play the song, and I never forget how to play songs. Aside from the brain injury it still could have been that he just didn't feel comfortable playing in front of people. I had been playing piano and doing recitals and concerts for more than 8 years when that happened to me. |

olivedaisychain chapter 16 . 12/22/2011 great story:) |
blackmorals chapter 16 . 10/12/2011 I loved this story. Its has real heart and deals with the sensitive subject of disablity very well. My mum is disabled and shes only 41. She can walk and drive but not long distances because she has a connective tissue disorder. I know what its like to be the person in a car park that gets evil looks for parking in a disabled place and it makes me so mad when people assume that just because my mum can walk she isn't disabled. Enough ranting from me. Loved it! |
MusetteBlanchard chapter 1 . 9/30/2011 birdie, your story was just rec'd by an angel of mine (robsten angels thread) for which I'll be eternally grateful. WHT touched my heart in ways you'll never believe. Congratulations, I will keep WHT in my fave list and will rec'd to all my h00rs at twific dot net. It's kind of overwhelming 'gestate' a story and I do respect your decision but I also hope that someday in a near future you reconsidere it and return to the fandom to grace us with more of your writing. Thank you! |
