This is one of the best L and Raito fanfictions I've read yet! Plenty of smut and romance, and a wide variety of sex scenes. You did a magnificent job.

This may not be true, and I don't know if it actually is, but I see this story as the prequel to your other one, Close. That one was really sad, and this one was very cute, and putting them together seems...just perfect. Although, that just about makes the angst in Close unbearable.

You've hit all the right spots for a story this good. Plot? Check. Detail? Oh yes. Character development? Definitely. No OOC? Not that I could tell. Style and grammar? On point. Appropriate tension? I'll say. Conflict and resolution? For the most part, yeah. Slow seduction leading to a beautiful lemon between two beautiful and brilliant people with some kink thrown in for good measure? OH FUCK YEAH. This was great and fun to read. I just finished chapter 70 of the manga, so I decided it was time to look up this pairing on . It paid off with you story. this is definitely the best death note fanfic I've ever read!( I've read almost all the fanfics of death note and there were only two fanfics I really enjoyed reading before I saw this)
