you know, i don't think people usually pull off an "i love you" in their stories so early in their relationship, but this really does work... given the circumstances and the state sara's in and the fact that it's still slightly tentative with the "want" in the middle of it, it's completely believable as the natural progression of things, and not to mention really adorable! and now i'm sad that i'm all caught up on this and have to wait with everyone else for the next update! keep it coming!

i don't think i mentioned, but i particularly love sara's internal dialoge. slightly cynical, with a bit of sarcasm and humor.

i like that sara was tough through the pain and the way catherine handled the situation, unlike a lot of stories where something happens to sara and catherine wilts into despair and ultimately becomes her caregiver... this was much more realistic. and i like catherine's sudden moment of realization, cuz i know from experience that it does indeed happen like that some times. one day, the person is just a person, and the next, they're all you think about. obviously exciting that they will be going on a date, and hopefully hank doesn't end up throwing too much of a wrench in things and is only a minor disturbance!

wow, that's one hell of a chapter! loved the humor in the beginning, and catherine's teasing. then the confession, very well played, i liked the way you brought it out, and i liked that catherine had some nervousness. and then, out of nowhere, bullets and a potentially wounded sara? well, let's say i'm glad the next chapter is already posted!

i like the little mix of humor that's thrown in with everything... very much like the show, dealing with gruesome topics, but not completely morbid 100% of the time. flirty catherine was dead on too, it all sounded completely like something she would say, not to mention flirty catherine also leads to more developments romantically in the future i presume? well done
