Ik.. Ik this was written ages ago. Although I was only 2 at the time it was written..anyway! During this lockdown I have been very bored and overwhelmed with school work. But this really helped me get through my boredom for an entire week. Lockdown restrictions are really bad where I live and for a 12 year old it's really annoying and boring. But this amazing peace of writing was a big help. While I was doing my work everyday I would always think to myself, 'Okay after you have done your maths you can read another chapter', but another chapter normally turned into another 4 chapters... Oof.

In Oliver's seventh year/Harry's third year, Katie would have been in her fourth, not her fifth. In the books, she is only one year older than Harry. Otherwise she would not have still been at Hogwarts during Half Blood Prince when she gets cursed by the necklace.

I completely lost my shit at "it's either: i brush your hair or i cry. you choose."

and then again at "who knew all it took to tame the fiery katie bell was a good grooming?"

I have re-read this story so many times you have nooo idea. This continues to be one of my top favourite stories of all time (not just limited to fanfics). Seriously I just love Katie and Oliver's relationship in this fanfic and I have yet to find another story that portrays as much depth as you do for this ship

I. LOVED. THIS. STORY. I loved how stupid and great they both were and I adored the way you wrote Oliver and I don't even care that it's been years, I just have to say that I love this SO MUCH

This is a sweet pairing, and I like how you addressed their emotional concerns and being together with other people before they finally got together. It adds depth to the story (and seems more realistic) and I especially like the quote about different kinds of love.

You did got Katie's year wrong at the start of the fic (she should be year 4, not year 5) but that was kinda rectified when the other members of the Quidditch team graduated.

It was understandable for all the dark and heavy stuff to be eliminated from the story, but I felt it was very unfair to Cedric that his death was literally glossed over. They are ultimately acquainted and he just poofed out of existence when he was pretty integral before that. The part about Cedric's death could have been better dealt with.

While it made sense for the team to be so close since they are about the same age, I can't help but feel kinda sad for Harry that he's left out of the team. Granted, since this runs parallel to the main books, Harry was never mentioned to hang out with his team. Still, I can't help feel left out on behalf of Harry

The ending, while not unexpected gave rise to a question that was never addressed. Why is it important for Katie to fly again? What significance does it hold that Wood wanted to proposed only when Katie started to fly again?

I love yours! i'm just reading it for the second time because I forgot how much I loved it!

AHHH I cannot even count how many times I sobbed during this story. It was so good and certainly one that tugged (dragged) at the heart strings. Great job I loved this story 3
