Aw, Rudolf and Death are so cute interacting with each other. Young Rudolf trying to confort Death was really sweet, and the moment of the kiss was sexy and sad. In the musical I have the impression sometimes that Death didn't really care about Rudolf, was just kinda using him, but I prefer to think he really cared about the poor boy. Anyway, this was really cute. :3

Actually, I like Death paired up with pretty much everyone because he is just that awesome, but his relationship with Rudolf is just something special and you captured that beautifully. I really enjoyed reading it.

Just wanted to say that this is a wonderful story! I love seeing Death & Rudolf stories, but it's so rare to see Rudolf-as-a-child stories. (Not that there are many Elisabeth fics out there, unfortunately)
