Ahhh! This hasn't been updated in nearly five years now, but I'm still holding out hope that you'll come back to it soon, pretty please!

I started this story yesterday, and I have been practically unable to put it down, because you are really an amazing author, and this is honestly probably my favorite Spot Conlon love story fanfic on , or on wattpad, or on AO3, or really anywhere. Can you please at least update, man this is so good

I loved Hear the Bells in Brooklyn, but I was disappointed by this chapter. It was well-written, but I was distracted by the frequent historical inaccuracies. Shampoo, conditioner, loofahs, and mascara are all relatively modern inventions, and detracted from the story. Also, her corset would have been called a corset, not an Edwardian corset.
The wavering of the dog's name also threw me off. Is is Bear? Is it Wish? Make up your mind!
Decent start, but DO YOUR RESEARCH!

I just recently found these stories and fell in love with them. I have been unable to completely focus on anything else. I'm so glad that progress is being made between Spot and Rookie. I'll freely admit thought that I wanted to hunt Rookie down and beat the crap out of her, hopefully beat some sense into her as well. I hate to think that she isn't willing to give up Dawson or whatever his newsie name is. He doesn't deserve her and even if Spot didn't treat Rookie right in the first story they still barely new each other, had short tempers, it was winter, and she reminded him of his first love. The fact remains though that they got into very personal things before they were ready to I think and now are paying for it. Why can't she just realize that she never really did quit loving Spot? I'm jealous of her but they're perfect and I've felt bad for Spot throughout this entire story. I can't help but notice that this story hasn't been updated for nearly a year. Now I'm not one that can judge but I surely hope you haven't forgotten about this story completely or never plan on finishing it because I'm going to go crazy with out knowing what's going to happen. Thanks for 'publishing' such a well written story on here I've thoroughly enjoyed it and it's most definitely been one of the best I've had the privilege of reading.

Please Please I"m begging you update and finish this story I need to see Spot and Rookie have a happy ending. I've been cursed with the bad luck of picking really good stories lately where in the end Spot dies or something like that and I need a happy ending with one of these well written story. Your my main hope. :) lol

but, um, i love Rookie and i love Spot, obviously, and i wish you'd come back, because i miss this, a lot.

but at your own pace, go to college, take your time. i'm just going to patiently wait and listen to the Jonas Brothers, apparently - according to my iTunes. i'm alittle out of it, freakin' school and things and it's 1:36 in the a.m. and I'm leaving for home tomorrow and...i won't burden you with such issues.

"The two stood up, Rookie took Bear's leash, and the two set off for the first real activity of their 'big day'. Spot lead the way with Rookie a step behind, following him like a puppy. Once they had reached a certain pathway, though, Rookie had the tiniest inkling of where they were going.

He couldn't have remembered—it was so long ago, Rookie thought doubtfully to herself.

But Spot proved her wrong, and proved what a spectacular memory he possessed. At the edge of the park was the stable where some carriage horses and riding horses were kept. It was mostly a spot for 'richies' who could afford to ride around the park or keep their horses away from their own property.

"We don't have enough money to ride…" Rookie said.

"I know," Spot replied. "But I know one-a the hands an' he said he'll let us just look around and pet an' feed the horses an' that stuff—I know how much ya love 'em an' all that.""

i just thought that was really cute. i love the About You Now song this is named after, i have a secret obsesion with nickelodeon stars...so...

Oh my, this was a great chapter! Nothing extravagant and fast paced, but a nice little chapter with Spot and Rook. I was a little confused about the "Daisy" thing, though. Awaiting the next update!
