You know, the Final Bleach Chapter just came out and it was utterly, heartbreakingly disappointing. Almost immediately, I thought of this fic that I read over 6 years ago. I think it shows better than anything I've ever read (except the first few arcs of the actual Bleach manga) why what Orihime has with Ichigo could never compare with what he has with Rukia. Their relationship just runs so much deeper. So thank you for this fic, so much. It's a great reminder that I haven't been crazy all these years shipping IchiRuki. They really are perfect for each other.
