Married life and fatherhood sit well on Lee. To see the dreams of his own lost childhood come true for his delightful, energetic son has an all-is-right-with-the-world feeling of coming full circle. Lee & Amanda's enduring love has created a wonderful home for their children.

Wow. I obviously have to find the rest of your stories in order to read the rest of this universe. Just wonderful. A very plausible look at the future without being sacharine.

Mary, your writing always amazes and annoys me. Amazes me in that I can't believe how ON TARGET you are with the characters and the emotions they are going through... annoyed because, while I love to read angst, I could never write it... and never, ever write it as well as you. Now get a move on and get with the next part in this wonderful group of stories.

I don't know what the 'with or w/o you series is' but that's ok. This was a great story. I loved the mention of Matty's hazel eyes. I just wish it was an even longer story.
