Thank you for giving the story a true ending. Not the romantic sappy crap, but the real joker. I tend to come back and re-read your story. Great Job.

Just one problem I'm having with this story... I mean I get she's religious. Which is fine, fine honestly.
But, let me lay something out here. And when I'm done, hopefully you'll have a response for this silly, little, question...
Do you know what the word sheltered means? Well here's the literal meaning- protected from difficulties or unpleasant realities. With this definition, I can ask; is Chelsea sheltered?
What ever gave me that crazy idea? Oh I don't know- "His eyes flashed and being even slightly religious as I was, I winced visibly at the potent curses and tried to ignore them as they stabbed into my ears." - You
Hmm, what on earth is wrong with this reality? Well- to be frank we're gonna need to take a step back.
Two steps back, we're in college. No wait even high school! And here's my three questions.
A. Was Chelsea homeschooled?
B. Did she take online Pre-Med classes?
C. How long has she been isolated?
Why do I ask such silly questions?!
Because- "His eyes flashed and being even slightly religious as I was, I winced visibly at the potent curses and tried to ignore them as they stabbed into my ears." - is innacturate. To a point that just... irks me.
Have you ever been in high school/college/real life? It's not all sunshine and rainbows. No! It's a messy, dark, hateful, world out there, and Gotham is just like that. Heck Gotham is a prime example.
Being honest the fact that she would still even wince at those words surprised immensely! Chelsea works in a high stakes life or death facility. Do you think people would really just hold back?
And in college, as a religious person Chelsea would be surrounded by sex, drugs, drinking, parties, and curses!

Answer me this: Was Chelsea isolated, abused, sheltered, homeschooled, or babies throughout life?

Oh, ouch, that hurt. Good job, though; you're right, that's realistic. The Joker doesn't let people like Chelsea live that long.

I really liked the story as a whole, though I do think you can get a bit over-poetic at times. Chelsea felt like a person, and I found myself feeling sorry for her. The Joker seemed IC, and the plot progressed nicely. Overall, excellent job.

And did you know there was a malfunction with explosions in the movie, so the scene didn't go as planned, and instead of cutting the scene, ledger rode it out and stayed in character and the reaction was completely his own

there is no point in trying to fix something that was broken in the first place and obviously beyond repair...any relation to Mr. Joker?

I love the phantom of the opera, both the book and the musical. Though I despise the 2004 movie rendition.

Such a boring story. A complete waste of time.

i understand that she will feed him, but the books and all it seems to much good for him, anyway she has a trashy life that's why she don't see the danger of a genius criminal that once broke free from prison, other people who have families and something to loose woudn't take the chance to help him even if it was moraly right, anywat thats what i thing , its either that or she must be someone realy mature too discard her human feelings to do the right thing like batman did

I think I'm going to have a mental breakdown right now because you just took my heart into your hands, slowly twisted it around and then you just BROKE IT with this fan fictionIt was so real and beautiful and sad... the way your characters developed, the way the plot was unique and interesting, your writing stylethe way you describe things and write the dialogue... all of these things made the story three dimensional and believable.

Oh my God! This chapter is one of the most well written things I've ever readyou've kept the Joker in character so far and your OC is written in an interesting and intriguing manner and her development is beautifully done.

This is a very realistic and truly sad story... it was beautiful written in every way. Well done.

Your writing skills are incredible! The fluidity of scenes and descriptions/dialogue of the Joker were chill worthy, but still gripping. I think it is realistic that this is the ending for Chelsea. She knew he was going to kill her eventually, but at least she was able to sleep beside him for one night and live out the fantasies in her head. I think it's a very fitting ending. I'm guessing he probably killed her that night when he took his knife back from her. He was very unamused with her saving the Commissioner and more so, for taking his precious knife away from him.

This has been a journey. :) This is one of the most well structured pieces I've come across in my five years here at fanfiction. It's up there with All That Remains by SkyLeafAlchemist19 - and that's saying something extraordinary (I highly recommend it if you're a Lord of the Rings fan haha).

It was amazing. Your Joker was terrifying and captivating. I always knew what he was going to do, but was so afraid of being right that I had to peek through my fingers occasionally. Like the Pocahontas and John Smith reference (I loved the way you integrated that btw, very clever and something I can easily picture the Joker doing).

All and all, thank you so much for putting this out for us to read. It was amazing, you're amazing, and I hope to read more from you soon. :)

WOW. So I've just spent the past 3 or so hours reading this bad boy and it is by far one of the BEST Joker fan fictions I've read! I adored the Joker and Chelsea's relationship so much, it felt so natural and realistic. It never felt as if you were pushing a mushy love story. The Joker was written perfectly, truly terrifying. I hope that you write another story with the Joker in, I am dying (badumtss) to read more ;)
