I can't believe it's been five years since the last update! I'm still checking back to see if it's been updated! The premise is lovely and I love that the character interactions are already altered to what they were in the shadow between everyone, I do hope you will continue this story :)

I really love this story and wish you'd finish it. I was never a big fan of Marissa's on the show and there aren't enough fics out there that have Ryan basically blowing her off and having nothing to do with her. I truly believe that most of the problems Ryan had in Newport all stemmed from Marissa, and with her not in his life, he would've been better off. I wish more fics were out there that removed her from the equation.

I really enjoyed this story, as I do most of your stories. Even though it shows "tbc", it did seem to be a pretty decent stopping point. That being said, I certainly wouldn't be disappointed to see it continued.

I finally liked to see a story that reflected how others have viewed Kirsten early on, and possibly an explanation for her stand-offishness (I know that's not a word). There are a lot of stories that just present her as being distant, but have never explained it.

I hope that you do continue the story. Thanks for what you have written so far.

This is an amazing fic... I totally stumbled upon it.. it's like 3:15 AM EDT right now and I'm writing this... to tell you that you made me a believer; I didn't necessarily believe in Anna/Ryan but now I do. The way you wrote this story really highlights their common traits and personalities.

This is one of the best fics I've read recently, and it's a shame (though I understand) that it hasn't been updated in a while. I was disappointed to see the "TBC" at the bottom but there was no Chapter 6...

I sincerely hope you'll be able to complete that story ;) I miss that OC - Season 1 vibe and your story depicted that vibe pretty accurately (ahh nostalgia).

Great chapter! I really can't stand Marissa, but then I hated her even more on the show, so you've got her spot on I think ;)! I can't wait to read more of Ryan and the Cohens. Update soon!

Interesting reaction to Marissa's pity party. I thought Anna's comments were a bit excessive but I completely understand where she's coming from. It always DID seem like Marissa was trying to make everything about her. I liked Sandy and Kirsten's reactions better. Kirsten could still follow why Marissa was so upset but leave it Sandy to break it down the right way. Good chapter. Hopefully we won't have to wait so long for the next one :)
