Oh my freaking god, why did this stop? Oh my god, this is so good, I'm freaking out right now. The emotions are so incredibly raw in this. Everyone's perfectly in character in an original story idea. I love it. Lots of fluctuating emotions that I can really FEEL with them, wow. When Gohan says Piccolo's name while having sex with Videl, I felt a painful stab of fear go through my own heart. Everything makes sense in this story, it's perfect. Piccolo is perfect. Really stoic but cracks jokes too, totally attuned to Gohan. Gohan, poor baby... what a shit life. Thank god Piccolo loves him. Lives within *eyesight* of his home even, all those years. I'm gonna have to read this several more times. I wonder if I'll be able to figure out the hidden context part. I do hope you continue, one day... Are you still open to suggestions? This is really perfect, ugh wow, my heart.

There are simply no words that encompass my feelings for this amazing piece of work. That said, I suppose I could simply say that I utterly adore it. I am a huge fan of Fight Club, particularly the writing style, and I think that you exceeded my expectations for (for lack of a better word) imitating it. I think what is most special about this kind of writing is that it is so personal that it is unique to each individual. I happen to love your interpretation of it. To top it all off, you did not even remotely neglect the personalities of the characters. I think you aged and matured them very well, and did more that just bring them to life: you brought them into the real world. In one word, this fan fiction is "fanfreakintabulamazing" and I thank you for sharing it.

I hope that I see more work from you in the future.

Well, it looks like it's been just over a year since it was updated, so I ought not be too hopeful, but I thought I would leave a comment/review just in case it helps. I've never really read much of anything of this pairing, but really want to get more into it, so this was recommended to me in a list of P/Gh stuff. I guess the reason I had such a tough time getting into this portion of the fandom was just that Gohan's not my favorite. But, I enjoy how you're dealing with him here.

Also, I can definitely see the resemblance to Palahniuk's style. It seems to suit the story.

Therefore, if you are so inclined as to update this one day, I would certainly enjoy it.

It's about time Piccolo accepted Gohan, and it's about time they decide to stay with each other. :) Great chapter, update soon!

The POVs were nicely distinguished in this chapter.

Poor Gohan, not that Videl isn't suffering either. But jeez did she have to take the dog from him? And as for the ending...once again, poor, poor Gohan.

That was a perfect way to end the chapter. I'm usually a GV fan, but I must say in this fic Piccolo gets all.

This is a stupendous start! Very descriptive, a very ncie reflect on the life of someone Gohan's age too. I think you actually made me feel his boredom.

I have to say that I find this amazing. It's one of the best fanfics I have ever read and to top it my favorite (almost non-existant) pairing. I really liked the style it had to it - it made it seem more fitting.

Wow. this is a really intense story. It's written so interestingly... and most definitly very dark. It's intriguing, and your deceivingly simple syntax, yet wickedly detailed imagery is really something. I'm impressed. Very impressed. Please conclude the story soon. It would be a shame to see it left unfinished.
