Your AN said it was written diliberately so any character can be inserted. You may wish to rephrase it to any female character can be inserted as you meantion the other person is female.

I like how criptic is. It allows the reader to use their imagination more than if you used a set character.

I hope youre not one of those authors that abanddon stories and let her readers down because your stories are great i enjoyed reading your hellboy fics.

You describe the scene with such a vivid touch that it is easy to imagine being the woman, whoever she may be. Nuada is beautifully in character, but there is a sense of vulnerability to his final command/request, for all his mastery.

Keep up the splendid writing. You must be so busy with your little girl and life in general, but please do write when time and inspiration permits. You have an amazing gift.

Yikes. The prose is not overly flowery, and draws you in. You portray his emotion and his dominating personality well.

I have only one comment - the last line. When Nuada says "All I ask, all I need, is for you to surrender to me..." It just seems as if there should be ellipses instead of commas. Like this: "All I ask... all I (i)need(i)... is for you to surrender to me... just once." The comma just doesn't give him enough pause. To admit that he needs the girl... that's gotta be hard on someone who's usually so self assurred.

But I like this. A lot.
