SymbioteRevenge chapter 1 . 9/11/2010
I like the discriptive, thought provoking tone that this story has. The strong mechanincs are also a big draw for me; too often I have read stories with good plots and no punctuation. Being a Venom fan I have to say that you captured the character quite well, this is a story that will most likely stick in my brain.

Thank you, for that.
Raihu chapter 1 . 7/29/2008
HOLY NOSTALGIA, I loved the Venom saga in its original run, and I actually went looking for clips of it not too long ago. It was even more ghetto than I remembered, amen.

Any and every symbiote is glorious to me, but I love to read Venom because he became such a huge fixture in the Spiderman mythos; and on top of that Brock had such delicious inferiority issues even before the whole I-need-to-bond-with-alien-lifeforms thing, so watching Venom curl up against him, powerful and seductive, is just. JUST.

Your way with words absolutely splits him down the middle and then sews him up again. Iss' so wonderous, yes!
fall from stars chapter 1 . 7/25/2008
...oh my God.

Dude, okay, so I suck and never saw Spider-Man 3 because everyone was like, "Avoid that like it has the plague." And I went, "Right-o," even if I was excited to see Foreman, er, Topher Grace as Venom.

This has totally made up for it.

"He starts to think in “we” rather than “I” as Venom sinks in and becomes him" gave me shivers. I'm not even kidding.

It's a weird thing to really see this explained, since there's so much possession-by-evil-entity-of-your-choice in comic books that it's almost commonplace now.

Not a lot of what's out there actually describes the hold that the thing takes on you, on your mind. It's good to see that from the victim's, rather than the hero's, perspective. :D

So basically?

Totally faved.
