lovelorn45 chapter 11 . 11/14/2008
I really enjoyed this story, much to get my teeth into. Didn't much care for Ginny but loved the interaction between Dominic and Hawke. You built the tension beautifully and kept me guessing alomst to the very end. At first I thought Hawke's reaction was a bit over the top, especially pinning Dom up against a wall, but if the man felt betrayed, by his oldest friend, and his father, he might very well have gotten so mad he couldn't control himself. Self control was something he often struggled with, and something so deeply personal would have struck a nerve.

Beautifully written and compelling. More like this please!

Good story. I thought the conflict between Dom and String was very well done. But poor Ginny!

Good story, glad to see Hawke and Dominic working things out with each other just wish things could have gone better for Ginny.
Lady Razorsharp chapter 11 . 7/31/2008
Wow, what a rollercoaster ride this was. Beautiful and heartbreaking and hopeful all at the same time. I love seeing Dom and String's relationship and this is a huge dose of it, for good and bad. Wow, again.

Very well done!
Lady Razorsharp chapter 10 . 7/31/2008
Man. This was some of the most intense stuff I've read in a very long time. At first I was really upset with Hawke for just letting loose on Dom, but now I understand why Dom was so upset...This has gone from bad to worse to nightmarish in the span of a few heartbeats. Oh, man.
Lady Razorsharp chapter 7 . 7/31/2008
This just gets more and more interesting...What in the world is going on with Ginny?

It was really cool to see Dom through Nancy's eyes, and hear what she had to say about Hawke, too...
Lady Razorsharp chapter 5 . 7/31/2008
Ouch. Poor Dom...though it was nice to get a glimpse of him in younger days, it was painful as well.

I liked how you brought Eve to life; she was a real person in Dom's past, for good and bad. Nicely done.

Dom's changeable mood is pretty spot on, too-friend and father figure one minute, serious and rather volatile the next. Very Dom; you've captured his personality well.
Lady Razorsharp chapter 4 . 7/31/2008
Loved the soapsud fight! *g* And I love seeing how they're all such a family...

This is playing out just like an episode, really!
Lady Razorsharp chapter 3 . 7/31/2008
The developments just keep getting more and more interesting...who is this mystery lady with the three names? Her own musings suggest that it doesn't bode well...

Interesting glance into Dom's tour in Korea, too. I wonder what happened...

Now to find out! D
Lady Razorsharp chapter 2 . 7/31/2008
Wow, Cait, give him what for! Hee, I could just see her railing at him. Too bad she and Hawke won't get together...maybe. *g*

I'm able to follow this pretty well, but I am a bit concerned about your lack of paragraphs. I have a feeling that each sentence denotes a separate thought, so I understand the cadence of how it reads, but I just thought I would put that out there.
Lady Razorsharp chapter 1 . 7/31/2008
LOL, I can hear their voices so clearly. Very nice.
Ladyhawke 620 chapter 11 . 7/30/2008
Excellent interplay between Hawke and Dominic, can picture Dom trying to crawfish on telling String what he fears is true, sometimes honesty isn't the best policy it seems. The two of them making up afterwards that I can see as well. I don't know if I would have pictured Hawke being so physically mad with Santini though. He always seemed to rein in the temper where he was concerned. Still, overall a very enjoyable story.
Bethhawke chapter 11 . 7/28/2008
Excellent, you kept us guessing almost to the end. You've put so much detail in and the characters are so in depth and likeable that it's hard to let them go (and that applies to all your stories, not just this one). Another story to remember and read again.

Love the banter and actual heart to hearts between Dom and String. Also really like that you have woven the story in between the episodes we did see. Keep up the good writing! Thanks for sharing these.
