I agree that this might be realistic, though I'm not sure Lucius would have been quite so effusive in his affection, based on what we see of him in the movies, at least. But overall, I was really impressed with what you did here. I was particularly intrigued by Draco's reaction, his willingness to be loving even after a punishment and to be comforted by the very person punishing him. This seems accurate to how a small child might behave and shows that there was a time when Draco was less proud and more vulnerable, when rebuke and punishment didn't cause him to harden instead of repent. Nice portrayal. |

Although the fact that Lucious is a death eater and is raising his son to be one doesn't even hit the page. Its good in a way to leave it out because it gives you more of an appreciation for the home in general but I wondered if it would make a mention. |
