Omg! Zuko is so good in this chapter. Being jealous and insecure and questioning her faithfulness and then desperately trying to mend things is so him. Be still my heart lawd Katara stop being such a stick in the mud

God why does this portrayal of Katara suck SO badly? She's a WAR HERO, why is she acting like a dumb little middle schooler from 2000? I keep waiting for her to get better but she just gets more and more immature and gross. Also I DIED laughing at Zuko doing that dumb ass hair flip boys used to do in the early 2000s that looked like a seizure, not cute. Hoping this gets a lot better because at chapter 23 I'm ready to shove Katara off a cliff and her normal personality is my jam.

OMGGGGG, during chapter 7, I was listening to “Bring Honor to Us All,” then I realized the scene was based off of that, omggggggggggggggg. Good book tho, lol

Okay I’m at chapter eleven, and I have to say, this piece isn’t really written very intelligently. My reasoning for this is the inherent sexism you have incorporated into Fire Nation culture as demonstrated by Zuko’s outburst during the wedding planning. Sexism isn’t anything that has been demonstrated as being a part of life there, as women are soldiers, Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee are trained warriors, and schools are coeducational. Your portrayal of the Fire Nation isn’t accurate to that of the show, and the mistakes in your writing of the Avatar world become more apparent with your inclusion of blatantly western elements of modern culture (ie Bach)

I really enjoy your writing and this story, but everything feels very anachronistic. The fire nation and much of the cultures influenced in ATLA are from Asia. Being of Chinese-Vietnamese heritage, it's a shame that the traditions and cultures that could have been pulled from these cultures would have created a more authentic wedding. While I recognize that the fic has already been written, and I'm in no means demanding you to update or change your story, I wanted to point this out in a constructive way. Thank you for taking the time to write this story! It is evident you take the readers into consideration and your voice is clearly practiced!

I'm not sure if call this particular moment submissive so much as her in character and them bonding. she is smart enough to eventually accept this and not be fighting constantly. plus they should bond and grow close eventually.

This was an incredible, emotional rollercoaster of a story.
With an intriguing plot, and set up, perfect use of characters, and good pacing, this story has become one of my favorite Avatar fictions.
