I never even thought of this kind of AU! This is really well written! Although I'm sad that it is only a one shot. I would gladly wait paitently for this fic to have more chapters

I thought it would be more...depressing...this held a more melancholic feel, if you know what I mean. That, and a psychological twist to it. I wouldn't cry over this at dinnertime, but I do admit that both the plot and the writing style is amazing. Now, I have to sleep, so...

I had to make bacon of angst to get through this, I had so many feelings. This is absolutely beautiful. Excellent job.

I think this is a fun alternate ending. While I usually find the "it was all a dream" plot line to be like playing the world's biggest practical joke on your readers, you still pulled it off. Now, if this had been a 23 chapter story and you pulled this off during the last chapter, then I would've been disconcerted.

But since this is not a long story, I enjoyed this little "what if." It was a short little snippet that left you wondering about reality. With his scary intelligence, Light's mind would be his own prison.

Wow, this is surprisingly amazing; to put everything into pieces! I really agree with you, this is how it should've ended but, hey, the ending in Death Note wasn't as bad as it seems (thou it was very tragic).
