Great story!

Ugh *gag*... I can get rebound stuff but UGH I never cared for Jet. He was a budding terrorist in the beginning and a bigoted asshole in the end... there was no redemption, no growth, he just got a pass because he conveniently died. Hell, I didn't really start to care for Zuko til after the eclipse, but there was actual damn character development there.

So it seems to be somewhat implied but are Aang and Toph together at the end here?

This story was absolutely lovely! I gotta say, Zuko’s characterization in this was probably the best I’ve ever seen, especially in the beginning. Very well done!

Stay friends? After that? WTF! Nope. Sorry. I don't think so. I stopped reading right there. Excellent writing, but whatever happens next under these circumstances is not something I want to read any more about. I am a big fan of Zuko and Katara, but not like this.

This Katara is a selfish monster and she doesn't deserve Aang. I hope he takes away her bending and succeeds in creating new air nomads.

Don’t know why it took me so long to get started on this fic, but wow, thank you for this story. I’m surprised with how well you handled Ozai and Azula and Ursa! I might have been wishing for a hint of Taang but that’s just me being greedy at this point. As long as I get Zutara I’m happy! Kudos!

I can't actually believe how good this is. A friend recently recommended it to me, and it has been a very long time since I have read such fine prose. Your writing is mind-candy. It's so vivid and captivating, and tremendously helpful to me as an amateur writer. Every sentence was interesting, even the simplest of them. I truly aspire to write with the level of skill you have. You've brought all the characters to life in a truly wonderful way, and I can't thank you enough for this story. An amazing example of successful story-writing.

Loved the whole thing. Drank it up in a matter of days, but made sure to savour each and every word. You have a keen eye for detail and evocative writing. This, along with Stormbenders, is my favourite take on Zutara. It's so believable, and I love how you didn't just get rid of Aang without reason. You made sure to articulate why they were dysfunctional, and you even managed to make me not get angry at Katara for kissing Jet. She's an imperfect human being, not this saintly woman! You characterised everyone so well. Well done! Will have to re-read this from time to time. Such a good read.
