I really liked this, how you had Teyla reflecting on choosing a name and how important it was to shaping the person her child would become. I like how she considered all the men in her life, weighed the good qualities and finally settled on the man that embodied all the attributes she wanted her son to possess. And yeah, the kidney stone thing killed it for Rodney getting a namesake. ;)

Even though, she had not taken into account, as Dr. Keller had said, the name would annoy Rodney. Well, he should not have screamed like a little child when her placenta finally arrived before beaming into the Dart. To his credit, he did not drop her baby during the delay.

But still, kidney stones indeed.

Very nice. I love Telya's musings on why she picked John as a name for her son. It's nice to see her rate her team mates so highly, especially John, but it makes it even harder to believe that she would pick a whimp like Kanaan as her partner.
