Fantastically written

I liked the story, but regarding your last note. At the play when zuko gets killed by azule, everybody looks at him with the same eyes, but when aang dies; everybody has the same body expression. i think that more than just katara looking at aang we need to realize that if he dies that means that they all died trying.

I like the story, but i have to comment on your note
I feel that at this points that katara's feeling where clear, why? when she is flying with Zuko, zuko talks about aang fighting his dad, but katara answers "He has to come back" and looks forward with a sad expression, at least for me this shows that she has something to say or its looking forward to meet him after the fight. After defeting azula, she didnt cry or look broken has she did when aang came crasing down back the caves, showing the different in emotions with both Zuko and aang. But again this is only the way i see things.

I liked this one a little mroe than the other one; i feel that the writers didnt do a good job with their relationship, i mean yes we did got some build up (serpent's pass, the desert, the headband, Blacksun part 1/2...) but when it came to katara showing her feelings we get "Im confused" yes as viwers we may understand right? they are in the middle of the war and aang is the avatar an so on but we didnt get an explanation on how she deal with her emotions... maybe a talk with Suki about it? or even Zuko after all he had Mai.

First, i liked your story so far.
Second, i think i agree with your Author's note, i feel that the writes didnt had a lot of experience writing love; it seems like something did happen in the background of the show because as a person in a relationship it was a little off katara just kissing him at the end (the first book -the promise- shows something that happened before the kiss but still doesnt explain anything regarding their relationship) but in the other hand i think they had a deep connection with the other that just by looking at each other they could tell what was needed (after all if a TV show)...

I really enjoyed the first chapter.

I think that if you added maybe 3 or 4 years to everyone's age then this would have been the actual episode. but as everyone forgets, they are children in almost every sense of the word. They are not going to be quite as emotionally mature as we hope.

I disagree about your anti payback theory. it could have been subconcious or she could have not wanted to tell aang that she was going in order to get payback for him so he wouldnt feel guilty

I read it all just now and even though I'm not a one-shot type, I admit it was absolute gold. And it's always extra points if one-shot's are changed -and more satisfying- versions of canon moments. Thanks for writing these and making my day. Just thought you'd like to know you made someone from the other side of the world happy.
