cbjfan61 chapter 4 . 6/30/2009 Didn't feel like reviewing each and every chapter. But I have to say that this flowed very well. I have yet to read or watch the film The Notebook this was done in a very soft/gentle way. Very well done my friend! |
Section D chapter 4 . 8/31/2008 Perfect and beautifully written. Gentle touches and silent admissions with a passionate undercurrent. And Ruth is back at what she does best: keeping Harry's back covered. She will find out who is behind all of this ;) And thanks for the dedication. |
This Used To Be My Account chapter 4 . 8/30/2008 That was lovely, and I really liked the part where Ruth writes about their "mature love" and the final realisation of what passion was - very beautiful. xx |
JulietD001 chapter 4 . 8/30/2008 Lovely chapter, and this is coming along beautifully...I really like the character interaction, and its a pleasure to read.I love the fact that its Ruth's POV. Cant wait to see how this is going to turn out. J xx |
Harry Harrier Harriest chapter 4 . 8/30/2008 Such a joyful relief when Harry recovered his voice and his determined words reassured Ruth of her inner circling doubts, to make her whole again. Iam really glad Ruth decided to lay bare her thoughts and emotions about the first day of their rest of their lives, you wrote about the immensity of their love in a very captivating way. The description of their reacquainting with each other physically (sorry, am daft,) is elegant and magical. And such a good line from Connie - loved it! |
parttimeficwriter chapter 4 . 8/29/2008 I really enjoyed this chapter. Especially enjoyed the bit where you described their love towards one another. And I just love Connie's remark when she catches them kissing! |
This Used To Be My Account chapter 3 . 8/16/2008 Oh and update to come back to! Poor Ruth is still battling a lot in a short space of time and being so caring for him, but it sounds as though the next chapter holds promise for them both, so I can't wait (in the hope, of course, that things get happier for them). |
HappyGoLucky11 chapter 3 . 8/12/2008 Definitely an interesting idea and so far it’s been quite an enjoyable read. I like the thought of Ruth having a diary and the story unfolding through that but I must confess to being a little uneasy with how melodramatic Ruth seems. Granted, she would most certainly be upset but I think you’re forgetting that she is an incredibly strong and resilient woman. I realise that in her real ‘diary’ she might be a little different but for the purposes of fic it would be nice to have her stay true to her character. I must also point out that I find the notion of her being married to Harry before he even awakens bordering on the ridiculous. To me it seems as if you have taken something that should be wonderful and zapped all the romance from it. These are only my opinions, of course, but I do like to tell it how I see it. No point reading it if I don’t tell you what I think, is there? Anyway, I am interested to read more and to see how you develop it from now on. |
Rambling Scribe chapter 3 . 8/12/2008 I'm glad nothing happened to Harry whilst Ruth was having a much needed rest. I'm looking forward to seeing what his reaction is going to be when he finds Ruth at his bedside. :) xx |
wombatpower chapter 1 . 8/9/2008 Good stuff! love the use of the diary - very well written |
Section D chapter 3 . 8/9/2008 Squee! He is finally waking up. I love that Ruth is "his wife" and is moving into his house. Nice touch with Scarlet and Fidget; I have to admit that I worry about them sometimes - even to the extent that I fear they will have the same fate as Wes and disappear forever. Your writing is great and I can feel Ruth's despair and hope. Also like Harry's nurses - they seem to be a good, solid, sensible group of individuals. I really can't wait to read the next chapter! So, start writing immediately! |
Harry Harrier Harriest chapter 3 . 8/9/2008 That was so lovely and wonderful, but the Waiting is very tense! I am continually taken aback by your use of the diary (each time she starts a new entry, I mean) to express Ruth's tumult, waiting for Harry to cross the river (fantastic line) and come back to her. There are many more lines I love, particularly Ruth's recollection of Harry's different faces (Ruth *ahem, you* knows him very well ;-) ) and also of course her selection of an old t-shirt to wear! But I hope she doesn't have to stay alone in his house anymore. :-D |
parttimeficwriter chapter 3 . 8/8/2008 Lovely chapter. Really looking forward to Harry waking up and seeing how he copes with seeing Ruth for the first time and his reaction to her being his wife. Keep up the good work! x |
JulietD001 chapter 3 . 8/8/2008 Oh Isa, just beautiful. I love the time you have taken to discuss Ruth's fears and places they spent happy moments together and the flashbacks to Ruth intially leaving. I cant wait to see what you have instore for us. Please kepp those chapters coming. Fab story Honey! Jx :D |
Rambling Scribe chapter 2 . 8/2/2008 Sorry, bit late reviewing. A very moving chapter - poor Ruth :( and poor Harry :( I'm glad Connie has 'married' them. Hopefully, Ruth's presence will help Harry and she'll be able to finally tell him how she feels. :) Next chapter, please. xx |
