Very nice!
Frodo's sister chapter 1 . 9/8/2012
I like this story; it is really good. I like how you described Aslan forgiving Trumpkin and accepting him.
Qoheleth chapter 1 . 7/31/2011
Your Ladyship:

Well, no longer *just* a Son of Earth. Peter and Edmund are still Sons of Adam, after all.

Sincerely,

I'm lost as to why Trumpkin should feel that he needs to be forgiven. He didn't do anything wrong. So what if he was skeptical about myths and legends? He was always loyal and true to the Kings and Queens when they arrived. Unlike the Lion, Trumpkin was by their sides from the beginning.
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 10/18/2009
A great story. Very good.

That was superb! I didn't think much of Trumpkin until I saw the movie, and I started reading fan fiction about him. This was brilliantly written, and I loved it immensely. I'm a very spiritual person, so that made this story particularly endearing for me. This inspires me to do a little Trumpkin story of my very own. Hope that's okay with you!

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate this an 18!
Zarz chapter 1 . 12/18/2008
Oh, perfect! I think the only thing more indicative of the changes wrought in Trumpkin than that Aslan calls "son of mine" is that Trumkin understands and is proud of the title. Really, really wonderful piece. You've really managed to capture Trumpkin's thoughts, and Aslan is perfect. Great work!
KCS chapter 1 . 7/19/2008
Now THAT was thoroughly refreshing after a lot of the junk that's been rearing its ugly head in this fandom. :)

Thank you for getting an original, clean idea and taking pains to make your writing worthy of it. Bravo!
Dearheart chapter 1 . 7/18/2008
*smiles* This is lovely, and very refreshing from all the garbage most people have been writing. Bleh. Thank you for writing something so thoughtful, and so full of Aslan's character.

The only thing I'd mention is that I think Trumpkin would be a little more grouchy and reluctant at first to admit he was wrong. Oh he'd know it in his gut, but he wouldn't like to admit it. That's just how dwarves are. :-) And THEN, as he walks up to Aslan, it all disappears...but other than that, this was beautiful!

Kudos to you for writing something outside the box! May Aslan keep you in His mighty paws.
