How can you no let me see her parents reaction! Interesting idea, the story

Oh my oh my! If this happened in dcmk I wonder if Aoko and Ran would meet? Just wondering, anyway great story and writing all the feeelings specially when Ran sacrificed her other life makes me think that she truly deserved him.

I'm not sure the last time I read this was. I've always liked it, and this is my favorite romance fic. I should really get around to printing a copy just in case it ever dissapears. But I read it aloud to myself tonight. this remains one of my favorite fanfics ever. I keep coming back to it. It really is very well done.

There are only some minor spelling errors throughout, out of 17000 words. A small overuse of ellipses (...), and and dashes (-) during dialogue. And in the beginning of chapter 1: before they leave for Tropical Land, the scenes does overly describe everything Kogoro, Ran, Conan do or feel. But right after that, the setup, the story just starts to flow. The attention to detail becomes a major plus, and I enjoy it more and more. Like it just keeps getting better... my favorite part was the scene with ran and ai in the mirrors.

This story really takes off with Tropical Land. Theres just so much going on, it would be way too big a spoiler to describe, if I even could. Honestly, this is still my favorite fanfic - maybe of all time. I am a sucker for true love stories where everything turns out well, ot ends in tragedy, but this has so much going on in it. well done. It remains my favorite of your fics. Anyway, Happy Halloween, i guess.

Totally recommend THIS story for romance. I feel the other fanfics in this fandom do not compare.

Just a note: This isn't a mystery fic like most Detective Conan fanfics. The sequel totally is though!

It is not bad. I can see how people find it romantic, and it is quality.

Looking back at this now, Ai seems OOC - but only in retrospect. I get the impression that this was written prior to the Halloween showdown, right? I remember reading this around that time.

The raw emotions still come across well for both this and The Window. I'm going to re-read Second Wind next. I remember your fanfiction fondly. Ten years, huh?

Good Fanfic, Dramatic, some action, and good grammar.

Amazing. The story line was... predictable, I guess, but what else can you make from Dectective Conan fanfic? No, what makes this fanfiction incredibly good is the rich vocabulary it has, the way the author describes the feelings each character has at every moment, and the knowledge that person has shown in various themes.

The only thing I didn't like about this (Come on, nothing is perfect, I mean, this little fanfic is close to perfection, but not quite) was the 'dreaming' part. I mean, it was sweet and everything, but it was just unrealistic. The story could have perfectly survived without it, putting the explanations and kisses somewhere else. The drug makes you shrink, not have schizophrenic illusions about double personality.

Other than that, it was perfect.

I rather enjoyed it. Sure Ai was OOC but still the story was sweet and the ending was cute.

Hey, I find that I actually like the story. When Ai gave the drug to Ran I was thinking "Oh, boy..." and thought the story was going down the drain. But now I feel lke going "Wohoo! yay, now I get to see Shinichi and Ran together in grade school!" And a very good interpretion of Ai. It is different than the usual. Good job!

Oh, and now she knows...

I love this story. Ran choosing to join Shinichi in his predicament helps things so much (well... In regards of feelings anyway...).

That was a really good idea, plus written with so much skill ...!
