I started crying in the middle of study hall just because if this story. Aside from the sadness its really well written. I loved it!

This story was so beautifully written and twisted at the same time.

“Look, my dear Weiss,” Nero said, opening his hands to Weiss' face. “I have a gift for you.” But the butterfly was dead. Its wings were bent at an odd angle and the feelers snapped off. The body was cut in half and Nero had choked back a sob, hiding his hands behind his back.

That was my favorite part. The dead butterfly completely reminded me of Nero's physical form. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but great work.

Oh goodness, this was just beautiful. There's no where near enough Weiss/Nero as there needs to be. This definately sated my need for this pairing, and it was just lovely. The quote about the butterfly's life at the end was truly thought provoking. Excellent job.

Aw, how sad. I finally was able to finish Dirge last night, and when Weiss stabbed Nero with his hand I was pissed at him. How could he hurt Nero? So my sister is all, No! It was Hojo! Weiss would never hurt his brother!
