This fic is an odd little fic. When I first read it, I hated it. Or rather, it made upset me a little to see Tony like that (Especially the remark about the blow and the skin crawling). Also, I agree with Elizabeth Bathory below; w.r.t the remark about Less Than Zero.

And I find that, as with the film/book, I am drawn to this story. Again and again. Like the cut on the roof of your mouth that you're not supposed to lick, but you still do. And after re-reading it for the seventh time, I've decided to just fave the damn thing.

I liked this portrayal of resigned professionalism. I think it's weird how rich people give up so much dignity just to be waited on all the time.
