You know, this is going to sound like I have no life, but the simple truth is that, upon waking this morning, your stories were the first thing on my mind.

This story was the perfect way to start my day. I love Saturday mornings anyway, but this one has been particularly enjoyed. I'm not sure how it's possible, but your stories just keep getting better.

One of my favorite things about the show is Sam and Deans relationship; that no matter what, they have each other, without question, and this story summoned that up in such a sweet and heartwarming way. Awesome... simply awesome.

Aw...I really liked this. Loved the quote that inspired it.

Dean was so cute, with his little bit of self-denial: "Dean Winchester didn’t get sick." *snort* Yeah, just keep telling yourself that, buddy. LOL

I loved this line: “I swear, if you don’t leave me alone I’m gonna you beat you to death with your own arm.” Ya gotta love Dean's snark, even when he's on his deathbed. LOL

I think this was my favorite though: “Are you trying to irritate me to death? Cos if so I’d appreciate it if you hurried it along.” I actually laughed out loud at that. :)

LOVED the image of Sam reading aloud from John's journal to Dean to soothe him. SO sweet, and it seems just right somehow. I am so curious as to what Sam heard when Dean was feverish, that he hoped his brother would one day share with him voluntarily. I was a little disappointed you didn't let us hear some of that-it is one of the perks of a delirious Dean, ya know, getting to hear him talk about things he normally wouldn't. Maybe you could write a "missing scene" for this fic and let us hear it? ;)

And I had to chuckle at this too: "When the time came, many years from now, Sam fully intended to have ‘I’m Fine’ put on Dean’s tombstone." LOL TOO fitting!

And I especially liked the glimpse into their childhood, showing at least one time that John really WAS there for Dean, and how Sam was careful to take over those rituals that brought Dean comfort then. Very sweet.

I really liked this. Adding it to my faves.

Aww, nothing I love better than sick!Dean and caretaker!Sam. I swear though, and I know it's so wrong, but something about a tombstone with the words "I'm Fine" on it just cracked the hell out of me!

I loved the quote you used at the beginning of this story. I'm going to share that with my sister, it is so true.

Of course Dean wouldn't admit that he was ill, 'Dean Winchester didn’t get sick.'

That sounds like Dean and it would be hard for him to accept any help from Sam as he is suppose to be the protector.

Dean feels lousy and his throat hurts, but 'he was fine though, of course. Nothing a good night’s sleep wouldn’t cure.' Just a little denial going on about his health.

Had to smile even though it was a bad idea, as Dean thought about using a gun or asking Sam to put him out of his misery.

Loved how Sam took care of his big brother and his thought, 'when the time came, many years from now, Sam fully intended to have ‘I’m Fine’ put on Dean’s tombstone.'

Great ending when Dean told Sam "thanks" and than just looked at him without explaining it further, but also realizing when Sam said "It was no big deal" that Sam really didn't mind taking care of him, because that is what family, what brothers (or sisters) do for each other.
