Beautiful story! I love their dialogue and how Han's comments guide her to begin to see that she is more than her devotion to the Rebellion. Very well written!

I really enjoyed the way they bond here, with Leia talking a bit about Alderaan for him and Han showing her that maybe he does care about someone else besides himself. I also loved the way she thinks about the Falcon and compares it to how she sees Han. Lovely story.

The conflict between Leia and herself - along with her interactions with Han - make this story interesting. What makes the story meaningful and powerful are the present tense you employ, and of course your beautiful style of writing. Excellent work; seamlessly done!

Really good. Leia is feeling such conflicting emotions that I'm surprised she really heard what Han was saying toward the last. Very good job in portraying both of their emotions.

That was a great little character piece. I particularly loved your description of Han as "fluctuating", because that's so incredibly fitting. He's reckless and impulsive like a young man, yet wise and world weary like an old one. He's seen it all, but still has that youthful idealism.

Good fic. It's thoughtful, with nice dialogue and a refreshing lack of sappiness.

I quite enjoyed this. I especially liked your descriptions of the people and objects in this story. They reminded me how a nicely detailed expression can extend the depth of the story. I liked this story so much that I wish there was more of it to read. :(

I remember reading this over at the JC boards, but I'll tell you again that this piece is fantastic. Very well told, and a very plausible glimpse into the Han/Leia relationship. Wonderful job!

This was a lovely piece. While I'm not a huge fan of present tense fiction, you pull it off well, and stick with her POV throughout. Some nice insight into both characters.

Your characterizations of Han and Leia are stunning. I can entirely picture this scene being played by the actors. It has a subtlety almost never seen on the SW screen, and yet these are the RIGHT resonances, the RIGHT depths for Han and Leia at this point in their lives and their relationship. Am I making any sense? Dunno. But what I do want to make clear is, I liked this story very much.
