This fic is really good...but its so sad.

Wow, it's already been 11 years. Time flies so fast.

Having said that, this fanfic is a classic.

After a near all-nighter and a couple mugs of strong-blend coffee, I just have to review this work.

It completely stunned and blew me over. It was absolutely beautiful and touching. The epilogue made me keel over and cry, it was just so lovely.

You're a very talented writer, and this is a marvelous story. I especially felt the sorrow and angst! [Which, however much depressing, is a great talent of yours!]

I'm a full blooded American, with a cousin in Iraq who was in the army during September 11th, and I must say I was really touched... anyway, great fic, and please write more Pokemon fics!

After eight hours of intensive reading all I can say is... wow.
You did it once again, , you created yet another masterpiece. And I simply love this one. Really, truly, the people who think Pokémon is a lame kids show should read this and think again then..
Questions answered, characters became more familiar (I even started to like Duplica more; I, too, have read Wild Swans and it touched me) and reminding that Ashs a guy who affected so many lives... in a good way.
I simply adore your stories, and this is no exception. Especially when this is so... deep. Cant really say anything more describing, I guess.

I've been a big fan of your work for some time now. This is my first review though. I have to say this story kicks ass, but being the perfectionist/Pokemon addict I am I need to point out some things.

Richie's fearow's nicknamed changed from Drilla to Hawkeye at some point in the story. Was that on purpose?

I love you man...no just kidding. BUT I MEAN DANG! What an incredible story. I was on the very verge of crying, but didn't (my sis was in the room. Otherwise, I would've). Although I must say... this story has sorta depressed me...not like, I'm moping around and such, but this story...its...its just wonderful. This story, although I'm not sure if this was your intention, has changed my views about death. I always believed in heaven, but I...I...I just can't explain what I'm feeling right now. You have no idea. I've always wanted to be in the pokemon world(don't we all?). Best pals with an animal that can understand you, no worries, leave your house at the age of ten, meet beautiful gym babes...but we can't. Maybe in our dreams...but not in real life(unfortunatly). I like to draw pokemon manga(NO, NOT THAT KIND!), and I usually draw Ash with a smile and maybe Misty behind him with a peace sign (or a mallet). This really changes the way we all look at the Ash we all know and love. Misty, Brock, Tracey, and the rest of the gang, too(Misty and Ash of course being my particular favorites). Ash and Misty pairing is so realistic too. Everyone knows that Ash and Misty love each other in the show (although they may not show it), so its a no brainer that people would start writing fanfics about their love for each other. But you, my friend...you take it beyond that. People that use lemons in their fics are just wannabes. They use lemons in their fics hoping that explicit sex will get them good ratings from perverted people(Brock,maybe...). The only exception is the story "My Heart is Yours". This one has a lemon, but the author uses more than that to attain all of his/her good ratings. But you...like I said, take it way beyond that. You use emotions and true-to-your- heart feelings that, in combination, make one of THE best fanfics I have ever read. Good job man. I salute you!

This has to be one of the most well written pieces I have ever read. Bravo, you should be very proud of this work. It is extemley hard to create such intriguing life stories with your own imagination for characters that may have been very minor. But well done, amazing job.

Congratulations on completing such an in-depth piece. Very rarely do I read such macrabre stuff! Well, I guess it's not that much but I recommend reading 'Kawaii' in the Pokemon section if you want something of that manner. Heheh.

Of course, you'd never see any of this stuff in the actual anime, with all of the butchering 4Kids has been doing.
