Lord have mercy when did you update this?! Its weird but every so often I come back to this story for an update and there's been two! I love it. I love this fanfic so much and your Cloud and Seph are like real people to me. They are like a cool perfect couple doing cool perfect things and I absolutely love how they love each other. I used to read romance novels and those novels never captured love, romance or sex like this story does. You have a real talent. Your writing is excellent.

Wow! I really didn't expect this fic to get an update so I'm excited as hell! To this day this is my favorite fic in this fandom and every update brings me joy and brightens my day. I'm curious how ypu will solve the cline problem but at this point I feel like Cloud is just about to adopt the poor little fella. After that - who knows! Anything could happen!

Your chapters are so long, it's hard to report my favorite parts. The romantic dinner, poor Rufus, Cissnei, and then the cliff hanger.

Your saliva clone has worried me for years now. How can you have a good outcome for a character that kills cafeteria workers and rips off limbs, but also is an adorable little boy who wrung my heart in the last chapter?

I am non my second play-through of the Remake. I love that I now can hear Cloud's voice. I don't think your Sephiroth has the same voice as the Remake one, though.

Wow, I’m re reading after a while (this is an old fav!). And I’m realizing how much this chapter hammers home how horrible Shinra is in this even though it seems like a nicer world than canon. And Vincent! He’s honestly terrible, he’s rationalizing his lack of care regarding the institutional positive attitude towards slavery and human experimentation. And the other lady! You don’t get to say “it’s what she would have wanted” when you’re referring to leaving a baby to be tortured and raised as an experiment. Who gives a crap what she would have wanted?! Gah, so many thoughts! Shinra is terrible.

So happy you're back! And congrats on the degree! I can only seem to toggle three actions at once in life, usually work and fanfiction or work and school (before I yet again took a hiatus to once more change my degree). Finances and stress mandated that keeping the job is the most important...leaving little will for school so it was shoved aside. I'll go back one day, perhaps...

Moving on! If you've played FF7 Remake, will anything related to that somehow find its way into this story? doesn't even have the fandom for FF7 updated to reflect the new characters, which is quite the pity but I think this site is slowly sinking under the waves (that homepage says the last site update was April 2019...they NEED to stop living in a hilarious fantasy land and officially remove the restriction on MA works that are being written regardless ((but a snitch could always say something...I once knew of a group here that took pride in that shit)) because they are absolutely about to go into obscurity due to AO3. But that's a rant for a different day, lol).

Anywho, this was another thrilling and great chapter and I just love all of your takes on the characters. Also, General Sephiroth has no concept of good food (this is a man that eats pizza probably way too many times a week): key lime pie is absolutely amazing and I WILL fight him (and lose...) to prove it!

This is maybe my third time reading this story, and this time I even had an extra chapter I didn't know had been out! I love this story, and I'm glad you want it to be more feel-good than angsty because Cloud and Seph's romance here just warm my heart in between all the ugly and rude and hilarious and embarrassing.
