I love this! It's such a beautiful one shot! Despite its dark, sad coat, there's a glint of sweetness and warmth. OoT Link definitely had it the hardest as did OoT Zelda. Forced to grow up so quickly and to enter the world of bloodshed at such a young age, that definitely messed up your mind.

I hardly see fics that focus on Link's mental struggles during his journey and the traumas that stay with him afterwards. Even less that show Zelda's and that's a sad thing. Cuz it's great writing material, there's so much that a writer can explore there.

Anyway thanks for writing this awesome piece! Loved it to no end!

Amazing. Simply, amazing.

Actually gives me an idea. And the part about Zelda really reignites the purpose of the games title. Sure we follow Link's adventure. But 9 times out of 10 Zelda is the one who starts either everything or the strike back against evil. It truly is The Legend of Zelda.

Your writing is amazing. That's a gross understatement. Your style, your word choices, they cut right into my heart. Ocarina of Time is an emotional game, but the emotions can get glossed over too easily. This just takes all the pain that someone like Link would realistically go through and expresses it in a beautifully dark way.

I'm not even going to mention the horrific noises I made when he and Zelda had their scene at the end. I almost woke up my family.

You really captured everything that I swear I know Link was feeling all during his adventures, things that people called me crazy for believing, and yet, you explained everything with just a few words. Amazing.
