You left me surprised bringing up a point I have never ever considered. How does she know how to behave properly at the ball? It's not like she has ever been educated in these matters. So your explanation made sense in a very funny way.

An incredibly unique look into what might've been going on in Cinderella's head those precious few moments when she first entered that ballroom. It was positively brilliant!

I especially adored the ending: "They do this for -everyone-?"

Now I've got to go find a copy of Disney's "Cinderella" and try to take everything I've read here and attempt to narrate that scene. I think it'll take a few tries, most likely due to an almost guaranteed several minutes of laughing while trying.

A line that made me laugh: "What if my hair gets stuck to my lip gloss (What if I’m not wearing lip gloss?) and he kisses me and then accidentally swallows my hair and then gets indigestion and I get arrested for giving the prince indigestion?"

Very cute! It makes me smile to think of Cinderella as a goofy ditzy little girl distracted by random birdies! I mean, most of the redos on Cinderella are predictably smart and stubborn, you know that whole take your life into your own hands... I like this better, it's funnier and more unique. XP Good job!
