Lynse chapter 37 . 1/25 This is such an amazing fic. Perfect characterization, wonderfully-orchestrated plot, spot-on bits of humour, excellent ending, the whole nine yards. Thank you so, so much for coming back and finishing this. |
Abracadebra chapter 37 . 3/2/2019 I had dipped into this story. But today, as a reward for surviving yet another trip with my teenager, I read the whole thing straight through. The plot just swept me away ā intricately plotter, with endless twists. And, of the setbacks. Poor Hogan. I loved his buddy adventures with Olsen, which had some incredible tension and drama. Their trip to the front and back had me hyperventilating! I felt so sad for LeBeau, and so relieved that in the end it was really his pluck and determination that saved the day for poor Carter. I was peeved at Newkirk, though I know his poor head hurt and he was just in his hyper protective mode. Kinch ā well, steady as ever! Carter was in fine form even in his injuries. But putting the irascible Col. Potter into the thick of this was ingenious. It was an incredible ride on every level and Iām looking forward to reading it again one of these days when I deserve a big fat reward! |
rutika chapter 37 . 11/30/2018 Great story! I enjoyed reading every chapter. Could hear their voices as I read. Bravo! |
snooky-9093 chapter 37 . 11/21/2018 What a great (and actually, a realistic) ending. Carter's injuries were too severe, and he does need to go home. I had quite a bit of nostalgia while reading the older reviews. All those authors who have left the fandom. But, anyway...thank you so much for finishing the story! |
snooky-9093 chapter 36 . 11/21/2018 Hogan is so manipulative, LOL. His biggest asset is his mouth. |
snooky-9093 chapter 35 . 11/21/2018 nice touch saying that Hogan won't kill camp guards unless absolutely necessary. Obviously, the camp staff is a vital part of the operation as well. |
snooky-9093 chapter 34 . 11/21/2018 Um...I take it this was part of Hogan's plan? Or did Burkhalter throw a monkey wrench into the works. Great dialogue, btw. |
snooky-9093 chapter 33 . 11/21/2018 Welcome back! I spent the last several days rereading the story...and checking over my reviews to see where I left off, which I found was chapter 32...It's amazing how you have expertly picked this up. |
konarciq chapter 37 . 11/14/2018 Reread the story (now in complete form!) yesterday, and loved it as much as I did before! Everyone is superbly in character (well, maybe except Hogan's somewhat overplayed angsty guilt, but...), the story moves along at a fast pace, never a dull moment, and despite its dark premise it's sprinkled with humour! Bravo, Tuttle! Now the other one! (Btw, I already know who I'm going to nominate as best visiting crossover character in the upcoming PBAs. If he doesn't win an award, I'll... think of something outrageous to do! LOL) |
Visage chapter 37 . 11/12/2018 Now this was a crossover that was just begging to be written. What a great story! You did so well keeping everyone in character and keeping the spirit of the show. Great descriptions all around. Thank you so much for sharing this! |
janna12 chapter 37 . 11/12/2018 Wonderful story with characters captured perfectly from both shows! |
LifeIsAGreatAdventure chapter 37 . 11/11/2018 Nice to see you working on this again. An entertaining set of chapters. Thanks loads for your hard work on them. Looking forward to future installments. |
Lynse chapter 32 . 4/22/2017 Excellent story! Your characterization for everyone is spot on, and the cross itself is very well done and believable. It was really interesting to see trips out of camp and everything those entailed; I love the way you used era-appropriate extra details to enrich the last excursion especially. I'll happily read more if you ever find yourself writing it, but if not, then thank you for pulling together this much! |
BookQ36 chapter 22 . 5/4/2015 Is it Father Mulcahy? Is it? I think it is! *Squee* And you included Bigelow and Sparky too. *Huggs* Can there be Major Winchester too? Sorry, sorry, I know they won't be spending much time at the Evac, no meet-and-greets. Anyway, great stuff! :D |
BookQ36 chapter 21 . 5/4/2015 He's a scary dude, all right. Really enjoying this story. I'm not sure whether its really good or really annoying that the guys keep jinxing themselves... either way, it makes for good fun! |
