Well I have to say... That ending fell crazy flat. Buffy is in total denial (standard for B/F stories), but eventually does kiss her (Okay...), but then never actually seems to accept her feelings and just leaves Faith hanging (wha...)? Now that's fine if this was a sad story were Faith still didn't get her in the end but then Faith shows up at her front door.

This is the same Faith who still has/had crippling self-doubt/worth to the point of spiritual suicide yes? Who just had her love turn around and walk out on her? Seems like we need something explaining how/why she got the nerve to come to Sunnydale and confront Buffy.

Then, when she does we don't exactly get anything from Buffy saying she has accepted her feelings. Just a comment about Buffy moping around from Dawn but that could still mean she's still in denial as to why. But then all of the sudden Buffy kisses her, is saying she won't hurt Faith to Cordy, and agreeing to go at it like rabbits...

There was plenty of opportunity for Buffy to have that change of heart over the course of the story but it just never seemed to happen. Both Willow and Buffy stayed pig headedly set against Faith practically the entire time and at no point was it ever really shown them changing.

The situation, the set up, ect... were all quite good. Amnesia Faith and the characters giving her heart to hearts about their past gave plenty of opportunity to shed light on the show/interactions/feelings. It just seemed to run out of steam and stall when it came to Buffy and Willow. Too much denial and hate that never actually got cleared up (at least as far as the reader can see).
