this was an awesome story! I liked how it took a whole chapter for jason and kat to chip away at the brick that was his conscinceness to make him see the truth! and to see her reaction in the fourth chapter was good as well, good to see that there were a few things she needed to figure out as well before they could really talk.

I loved how it ended! that he came to take her home. always her knight in shining armor! where she going to stay?

you did great. the poem was truly beautiful.

this is a good story so far.

how can he not realize that after everything she did and the message she sent in her rotinue that she she would be crying over anyone else? how could he just hang up the phone! OMG! i hope he comes to his senses soon! will he go to see her? or her to him?

This whole story was just so sweet. The perfect reunion for Tommy and Kim.

I was thrilled to see the next chapter was from Kimberly's point of view. It was amusing to see how excited she was at the prospect of hearing from... and painful when she hadn't gotten the message yet.

Her reaction was so great, too! :)

"The leotard he'd probably get, I mean I made it as blatantly obvious as I could, but the rest... I think the world of the man, but he's just not that observant." I laughed so hard at this because I could actually hear her saying that. *grins* Poor Tommy... even if I said the same thing in my review for the first chapter.

I like this reasoning for the letter. They were so close that the canon story of her breaking up with him for somebody else just destroys me. They were too close for something like that to just happen.

*flails* OMG THE CONVERSATION. My heart was just ripping for both of them. It had all the great awkwardness of neither really knowing how to bring up the subject and really reminded me of the way they kind of danced around each other before becoming official...

Fabulous - I wrote you this huge review for chapter 1 and of course, lost internet when I tried to send it.

*facepalms* I just knew I should have copied and pasted it.

I'm going to try to recreate it, because I'm just finally rediscovering my love for Tommy/Kim (I was such a fan back when the show first aired!) and enjoying going through the fics here. In fact... this is a piece that really makes me want to start writing this fandom.

I don't know whether to love you or hate you for that, LOL!

This one so far has been my absolute favorite of the completed pieces... the emotions in the piece are absolutely palpable and that's why I'm going back through it chapter by chapter, to really savor it rather than reading like my world was going to end.

Anyway - my favorite types of reviews are the ones where people go bit by bit and share thoughts as the piece goes... so I'm going to do that here.

The first thing I really noticed and loved about this piece was the stylized writing. I haven't been through your other stuff yet, so I can't speak for that, but I love the long flowing sentenced punctuated by the very short. The beginning with Tommy's reaction (as seen by him versus the other Rangers) was fabulous... and then "It was all an act." It really acts as a emotional slap in the face.

Tommy's reaction to seeing Kimberly - the physical, the reaching out, the sudden realization of what he was doing - was absolutely breathtaking and I could actually visualize it. I love it!

"The young woman who'd fought with him and against him and never once given up on him - until she'd moved across the country." This was probably my favorite sentence because I really felt the pride and remembered pleasure and other such feelings... ending with the crash of reality.

"for the first time - it truly sank in she was no longer his to have." - Do you know I actually yelled out loud at this line when I first read it? Trust him to come to that conclusion WHEN SHE'S OBVIOUSLY TRYING TO TELL HIM SOMETHING. *flails* (Of course, I was also having a "guys are dumb" day after issues with the husband, so that could have made things worse, LOL)

I especially love Tommy's need to do this alone. It's so characteristic of him - Kimberly's his weakness, and he hates showing weakness to the group, especially as the leader.

I nearly cried at Kimberly's sign language... and then at Tommy's message.

Arrugh, can't believe I didn't review this.

Wow, spectactular ending. It was perfect.

Well glad you finished this. Now of course you said its not going to happen but truth be told I would like you to do a sequel or whatever but also figure since you said its not going to happen that its only wishful thinking on my part.

Again glad you finished it and I'm glad that at least one person in Florida at least understood Kim somewhat even though Mia might not know everything
